His cravings were for someone intelligent that could understand something right in front of his nose.

Mainly, the mason jar you just opened with a bad smell in it.

Must be a breath of stale air from a Vegas man.

Bill what ever do you mean was not your cartoon man a mason? Does this mean we're not friends anymore? You know Bill, if I thought you weren't my friend... I.........I just don't think I could bear it! Or are you just bloviating again.

digger,
i live by the supers and know most of the treasure hunters around here...most of them have been trying to figure those silly stones out all their life..alot of them think they have them figured out...i've listened to all their theories...the funny thing about it is all their theories lead to different places...and none of them has anything to show for their life's work.....i'll tell you my theory...if those stones were actually carved by someone as a map to a real treasure...if the maps made any sense at all...then they would have lead all these people to the same general area.....these people cant even agree on the area the maps lead to

I have to say that this is one of your more intelligent posts. The only fault that I find is the general area comment and only because the great majority of theorist associate the maps with the Superstitions.

Still, it makes me wonder why you bother listening to all these theories. Seems like a waste of your time.

hal...you seem to think you're a genius and the rest of us are all morons...all i've seen you do here is irritate people and derail threads..like clint eastwood said.."you're a legend in your own mind"

Genius? Ha! An 84IQ would hardly qualify.
Morons? Well, I don't remember describing anyone here as a moron however, I have read a few moronic posts on this thread. As far as irritating people, that's part of my nature. Most insecure people can't handle having their beliefs challenged. It leads to public embarrassment and in some instances, getting banned.

I don't know what to say about your derailing comment but in all honesty, this thread ran out of track long before it ever got started.

Another Clint quote: A mans got to know his limitations.

While Bill's ideas about Freemasonry may seem extreme, they are not entirely unfounded and his knowledge of all things Masonic is impressive. This strange story of the stone maps, as you might soon read, has a deeply rooted and historical connection to Freemasonry. Its not an easy thing to understand but this story begins and ends with two groups, the Cowans and the Tylers.

Frank may be able to help you with the details in a PM.

Hal, I would be interested in hearing how the stacked stone builders, Cowans....and the guardians of the gate, Tylers...tie into the stone maps.

Thanks, Glen

me too, and i thought the Tylers, were the cutters in the quarry

R.T.Cowan the 4th my nephew is the 5th

CW...that very well could be, i was just remembering what i had read on a history of Freemasonry site. Cowans were to be kept out of stone masons areas as they didnt use mortar and merely stacked stones...the implication being they had no 'foundation' or the moral code that a true mason would have. Tylers job was to keep any cowans out...

No surprise that Hal has gone silent....he is only good at heckling the posters. Never offers anything. I think it was Frank who said something like; In Treasure Hunting there are those that are givers and those that are takers.....yup. Pretty much sums it up!

DiggerGirl,
It may be difficult for you to comprehend however, the earth is a huge rotating mass and in the US, sunrise and sunset both occur here on the east coast first. Hence the need for time zones. Ask Frank about it or go watch a video.

Thank you for proving my point.

Dig,

blaming Masons, Templers, KGC, or another other group is the easy way out for some folks. Its their go to answer when cornered. When you see researchers pull out the "Mason card" you know they have reached the end of their ability to justify their pet theory. Absolves them of any further personal duties to logically present their case. Its the current trend. Its somebody else's fault that the proof positive piece of the information they need is being withheld from them.

In any discussion that stone walls at "the Masons did it" means that side of the discussion is out of answers.

I agree Lynda! Very well said! I feel the same way about people who seek to bring Aliens, Phoenicians, Atlantians, KGC, and a lost tribe of Israel into the conversation.
