Original Peralta Stone Map Photos

I'm not going to do anything except think that coloring book is nothing more than an unsubstantiated claim because I haven't seen a picture of it, much less a drawing of a horse similar to the horse on the H/P stone. Unless someone is willing to post a picture of it, or at least share the title of the book, the "coloring book" remains a myth to me.
Another one of daves wishy washy facts, haha

Dave might be ornery, but he isn't the sort of person to make things up, manipulate, or lie. I have yet to see him do any of those things.

I am just curious to know more about this "coloring book."

Not being flippant but we should make one and sell it. Seems like books are the only thing that make money off this adventure. :)

p.s.: I'd like to see it too.

I did not mean to imply anything of the sort, but evidence cannot be substantiated on anyones veracity, it must be seen by all

alan...the people that went to texas paid for the privilege of seeing these docs and photographing them...so you really dont have any right to be making any demands on what you should see...if you really want to see it..go to texas and pay...

You don’t seem to understand how this works, you made the statement with your “Facts”, you need to back that up
I made no demands, I do not accept evidence on statements of observation, my priviledge, and my loss it it turns out to be the case.

I viewed the same stuff as Dave. He is right on. Take it for what's it's worth. I doubt this stuff will be available for public viewing in the near future. Our word is all you have. Others viewed this stuff but don't post. Ever! Why do you think that is? As Tom K told me don't bother. Those that believe will never be convinced otherwise. I don't want to ruin your dream. I can only comment on what I viewed. Guess I can't help myself. As a retired police sgt and detective I look at the evidence presented and come to a conclusion. You and others are the jury. I know what I viewed. I don't post bull. You have evidence supporting your views post it.

The "coloring book story" has been around since Aug. 2002.

I have also had the Tumlinson version related directly to me by RG, as well as the family member who claimed she was the one who was photographed with the book, and by one other witness as well....only about a week after hearing it from the first two individuals.
The photo in question wasn't shared with me.....the reason I was given, was that I would surely claim that the horse in the coloring book did not match the one on the stone. I was also told by the lady that the stone itself was carved, not by Travis....but by an old Mexican friend of the family. Since then, RG has stated that the Mexican only carved the Spanish script on the HP stone.
But then again, hasn't he also claimed that Travis had nothing to do with the Stones at the museum that we are all familiar with.

I  the LDM Fight Club
I am not here to fight with anyone, least of all anyone who knows a hell of a lot more than I do, just want to get a feel for the rules, it’s been a while since I was last active here.

Likewise I myself am not trying to convince anyone that the PSM's are real. I have been in Stockdale several times, I was there just last month getting hay. Never felt the need to meet the Tumlinsons, I have nothing aganist them either, just don't feel the need to question them about anything.

Since I joined the forums in 09, I have never asked a single question about the PSM's. The evidence that some claim to have seen, is just assumed evidence. It is just assumed that the PSM's were made by using some of those evidence maps. I say it was the other way around. It is assumed the Horse on the PSM's was copied from a coloring book. I say they just found a similar looking horse on a coloring book. Travis' "dream" is just something Ryan dreamed up, there is no proof of this without Travis stating it.

I don't blame you, when they get going I tend to get out of the way...my advice is to grab the popcorn, prop your feet up and pay attention...you can learn a lot and it's entertaining to boot...

Homar. I don't believe the TV show slant either only Travis knows why he did what he did.

Those two drawings were hand drawn copies of the stones which Travis had in his possession shortly before he passed away.
They were made by Pat Hainer and her husband, who had been invited to accompany Travis on his next hunt for the treasure he still believed he could find. They never got the chance, but Pat Hainer sent copies of the drawings they had made to Bernice McGee, along with a letter explaining the circumstances and additional notes added to the margins of the drawings, after reading McGee's story "An Invitation to a Ghost Walk" in a western magazine.

That helps a lot, the initial story I got was that these drawings were proof that Travis carved the stones, however, upon examination they indicate that Travis was attempting to decipher the stone maps, an odd thing to do if he really carved them himself.

Those are not the original drawings Travis used. Similar. Missing things and things added.
