The Peralta Stone Maps, Real Maps to Lost Gold Mines or Cruel Hoax?

Do you think the Peralta stone maps are genuine, or fake?

Sorry you feel that way - there are more people here with an open mind than you or Hal or anyone else might think.

Bayo,

While there are the occasional skunks here, what you will find most are some knowledgeable folks that will factually challenge theories. If you are not prepared for criticism or hard questions regarding your postings, then by all means do not post them.

BB, John Kemm, Rangler, Stildign, and several others post all kinds of offal. When challenged, they act offended that people don't just oooh and aaahhh and treat them like omnipotent beings. They start acting like simple questions are personal attacks. I used to challenge their every post and enjoy making them look ridiculous, but that got tiresome over the years, and now I just monitor their posts and jump in if I see them giving advice that could cause injury or death for an unwitting newbie.

There are a few of us that have spent an inordinate amount of time chasing down the true history of the Stone Maps. There have been some revelations recently, with more to come.

One of the biggest problems with accepting theories is that often, the poster wishes to remain anonymous. To be taken seriously, you should be prepared to back up your statements with your name. Most of the whackadoos never reveal their names, and as their medications change, so do their whacky theories. This way, when one of their "theories" is disproved, they can change screen names and break out with something entirely new and exciting! HAHAHA

Ebay,

As I see it, you're equating everyone here to "skunks". Assuming you know something about skunks, who do you think stinks? :dontknow:

Good luck with the baloon thingie, as well as the filming permit.

Well then I wish you well, watch your 6! Let me know when the movie version comes out. I wanna know who will play each of you in advance. And a friend of mine owns a movie studio.

Mike I have huge respect for you. Joe we already have the permit to film. Joe Hal and I Hold in are hands the truth and you will will have to wait to see. Mike it is not a theory I found writting in a cave plain and simple. It can't be disputed at least the age. It is well over a hundred years old in a two room cave with hand made wall and a trail to the mine. The skunks no whom they are. Taciturnus-a-um

Ebay,

"Joe Hal and I Hold in are hands the truth and you will will have to wait to see."

I don't doubt that that could be true, but to tell the truth, I was kind of hoping that bb had the real goods. Failing in that, there are plenty of interesting tales to fall back on. Twisted, Kemm, Croves?, Lazarus, Ben D. in all his various and sundry identities, and the list goes on..........forever.

Why the filming? If you want attention from a focused group, just come to the Rendezvous. You will get immediate feedback from, likely, 100+ Dutch Hunters who will be paying rapt attention. If you convince them, you will have a ready-made "buy the book/CD" crowd....including me.

Good luck,

Tim,

That sounds great! I will bring some microwave popcorn or, if someone has a popcorn machine, we can fire up the generator and have power for everything. :icon_thumright:

See your there.

Joe:
Good question.Let's ask him.
One would think that any application or proposal would have to fall within the scope of the directive.

If he got a permit, then one has to assume he met the objectives.

All,

"Azmula" has written an article for the Superstition Mountain Journal which is now being sold at the museum in Goldfield, AZ.

Copies may be purchased here:

4087 North Apache Trail Apache Junction, AZ 85119
(480) 983-4888

It's a big change from the pre-book information he posted on another forum in the past. I assume Garry's (Novice) posts have generated this change in his history of the Stone Maps. It's an interesting read for anyone who follows the subject.

I assume his "new" information will put another delay in his long awaited book.

Since I have had a long time interest in the Stone Maps, I have been anxiously looking forward to reading Azmula's book. While I have long questioned his "historical facts", I have never doubted his efforts to research the subject.

Like others, I find it interesting that he did not put his name to the article.

skumpa,

Welcome to TNet.

If it's a large foot, it probably refers to a boot shaped hill in/near the range.

Good luck,

Thanx for replying Joe have read most of your stuff, very interesting, but the foot I am refering to (google map earth) is to the right of a line drawn from the weaver's needle to the four peaks to the north as they would appear as one. As in one of the clues from waltz, and the other ? I have what is the waltz 1map 1 and 2 have to do with anything? What I did is draw that line that intsects with the n and south line to make a cross. and all of the waltz's clue fit. I know it can't be as easy as that?

Skumpa,

As far as I know, there is no actual "Waltz map". Are you talking about the Stone Maps?

Takek care,

Joe

Skumpa:

Are you referring to these:

No, go to google map, draw a line (using their tools) from Weaver's needle (North) to the 4 peaks mountain. If you stand on top of a mountain between them and look to the north all 4 peaks are lined up as one. Now go to the spot of 33 27 10 05 N - 111 22 41 19 W. Clikck on the little square, it should say Waltz 2 map, now go east to 33 27 13 63 N - 111 21 46 42 W, click on that little square, it should say the conclusion tot he original stone map. Both squares have pics to view. Draw a line between those two man made items. Along with the two natural land marks you come up with a kinda cross. Go to where those two meet, at the x. Use the time line tool to get to about 8:30 pm. The sun still shines on the spot just over the rigde. One of his clues says that he can't see the needle from his mine unless you climb up a little ways. I f you read all the clues it kinda fits. The lower cave should be at the bottom. Or if the opening was on top and he covered it up the opening over the ridge would be the bottom, if there is an opening. Also anyone know what the A at 34 27 05 97 N - 111 02 07 76 W stands for. I know I am probably way off, and these areas have been serched before, but it was fun and I did not use the peralta stones at all, but ended up very close to the spot, where someone did. Thanks for reading. Looking forward to reading replys. Be nice, if you think I'm wacked. lol
