Season "3" of Curse of Oak Island

Welcome!

He has given his life to that Island and he is a true believer, time to put the war to rest!!

There's the problem. "Belief" is not archaeology. All these foggy theories, hopes and dreams aren't supported with hard facts or tangible proof. No matter how hard you believe in something won't effect the outcome. It is or it isn't. Digging will eventually show whether something is there. But if you dug the area all around the island, including well out into the bay, down to 300 ft deep and found nothing there are those who would believe you just didn't go down far enough.

About the only theory that's not already floating around Oak Island is that it was Polynesians who relocated the treasure of Easter Island there. So I guess I'll take that one. The rock face is a Moai!

Respectfully Tim, it is news for people who are watching the show week to week and excited at the new developments! Just sharing my thoughts....

Haha No Spoilers! I am excited to watch week to week, just like everyone else! Perhaps we are all getting nice Christmas gifts!

Did they ever say whether the water was ocean or fresh? Also, are any of those involved following this thread?

Jeffrey Jovan will be appearing in finding bigfoot next week as well.:laughing7:

Now they are reduced to burying a time capsule, I guess they have run out of clowns with their goofy theories to kill time and this is the best they can do. At least now there is something buried there.

Wow! a piece of sharpened wood from a sunken area which was clear dug in the past. Then an interview of a fellow who wrote an article 50 years ago. Can this show get any worse? But then again, it is television, it most likely will.

First thing I thought of was Nolan Drilled a hole there many Years ago.
Could that piece of wood have been a Plug ?

Honestly he seems like a nice Guy , but that does not mean he's very sharp any more.
even if he thinks he is, He could have forgotten certain things.

I had to laugh that they couldn't find the Imaginary piece of Metal they thought they drilled to :laughing7: yet wouldn't admit maybe it was a Rock & misidentification :tongue3:

Just that the Magical Island Hid it from them :laughing7: too much of this ? :occasion14:

They have a 40 ton Caterpillar excavator and they have to wait to bring in a drill rig to go down 10 feet? And THEN they use the CAT to demonstrate that the nothing they found truly was nothing.

No wonder it's taking so long. As contractors they must have charged by the hour.

That Cat was probably for Product Placement to pay the weeks lease on it

I still enjoy the show; but originaly thought there was a pre-discovery made... and a TV show was created to cash-in on the publicity. But, if you were to make a checklist of everything the production company has "teased" about possibly being buried there:

* Ark of the Covenant
* Shakespeare/Bacon manuscripts
* holy grail
* pirate treasure
* Knights Templar treasure (aka: King Solomon treasure)
* Rosicrucian vault
* Ark of the Covenant
* Body of Christ
* Spanish sailors treasure during the American Revolution
* Marie Antoinette's jewels

Now that we are in the third season of the show; lets look over this checklist again after last nights blockbuster episode:
* Ark of the Covenant no
* Shakespeare/Bacon manuscripts no
* holy grail no
* pirate treasure no
* Knights Templar treasure (aka: King Solomon treasure) no
* Rosicrucian vault no
* Ark of the Covenant no
* Body of Christ no
* Spanish sailors treasure during the American Revolution no
* Marie Antoinette's jewels no
* Geraldo Rivera's treasures of Al Capone no

Oh well; can they continue this "wishful thinking" into a fourth season ? Anyone want to try this checklist again, after next weeks episode ?

:)

I noticed they didn't have a STIHL account so they had to use the excavator to remove branches and then back it off to bring in the drill truck.

.

the Whole show is apparently about leaving questions .

last Nights additions.

What is the wooden plug ?

&

what happened to the Metal ?

just like the week they left out what was or wasn't in the bottom if the 10x pit.

If they ever decide to sell the Island The Questions are worth more then the answers.
and so is the advertising Revenue for the show

Believe it or not you missed Roman treasure and Aztec treasure.

Maybe Hitler's Secret Bunker is under Oak Island and the contents of the Czar's Amber Room are buried there?

in that case:

* Roman treasure no
* Aztec treasure no
* Czar's Amber Room no
* Bruce Jenners testicles no

Well I think I realized they aren't really going to show treasure. The show is more like Lord of The Rings...we're supposed to enjoy the journey. Perhaps if I watch it from that angle it'd be more enjoyable. Wish they would market it more that way.

BTW, I'm sure most on the show are watching this thread. Hi guys, send me a PM if you need any help next spring, have metal detector, will travel.

Gotta Check This Out......#SWORDGATE

This was a serious accusation being thrown out by J Jovan Philyaw, AKA J Hutton Pulitzer

Being such a big name in 185 million dollar fraud schemes and bailing on the investors, he has jumped onto a new get rich quick scheme

Fooling everyone online and in the rest of the world through pumped up SEO manipulation and Information Control.

So Andy White Anthropology did a number on him and is being threatened with a lawsuit....

Its so funny to see Hutton play his games....every thing he says is a lie for tourist dollars which he has chased off.
