Morning WD. LIKE THE RINGS.

Some you’ve seen before and some you haven’t. We were not a wealthy family, so I doubt there’s anything of great value. But I don’t know much about jewelry and some may be older. Eh I just don’t know what is what. I do know that she was addicted to HSN and QVC there for a spell. Dad said she one some raffle from QVC and got a butt load of jewelry from it. What I do know about that type of jewelry is I found several rings at a garage sale and only paid $2.00 each for a dozen or so rings. I passed those out to everyone and anyone. But since my mom didn’t clue me in on anything, I have no idea what may have been passed down to her from prior family members. So I am playing a guessing game.

Awesome rings. Yes investigate them cafefully. Some of the silver rings I have found had actual diamonds in them. :icon_thumleft::hello2:

The four rings front right look interesting for possible diamonds. The silver one with the square stone looks old, stone could be diamond but can't tell. ...my tablet is not good on closeups.

Here's another thing that's been going on with me. I have benn researching on Fam. Srch. for several years now. It was pretty slow going, but all of a sudden they are piecing the puzzle together. I have ancesters that were from Hampden county, Mass. So I am searching and come across this book that has cemeteries and history of the area. It was approx. $230.00. I found it on e-bay for less than $15.00.

This is a B-25 Mitchell. My great uncle piloted this type of plane over Germany, and Western Europe during WWII.

Hi folks

AARC invited me to join this thread, so just saying hello from a (rather damp) UK. Some areas are expecting a month's worth of rain today and there are already more than 300 flood warnings in place. Fortunately I live on top of a hill but I'm thinking about building an Ark, so any tips and hints would be great. Obviously I'm on a completely different time-zone to most of you. Just so's you know, it's 4 o'clock in the afternoon here.

Red coat... it is damp here today as well.

So now that you have joined... you represent the U. K. here... FOR I think you are the first U.K. member of the RCT.

Not sure though.

I am racking my head and cannot think of another anyway. :)

Hey RR,..I was born in Louisiana,....... don't count me in with the unicorn and rainbow crowd.

Thanks folks. Would now be a good time to remind you guys that you still owe us 342 chests of tea? We'll be looking for an amicable trading relationship now that we've left the European Union. Everything's up for negoatiation and we could sweeten the deal by throwing in something we don't really want. Wales, maybe. Or Prince Andrew. :laughing7:

It looks like I should afford a home in AZ very very soon. Phew! I am not into the FL 5 types of biting ants, tropical storms, or high humidity. I have been here 4.5 months(unintended really). And I am originally from Minnesota!

That tea was not all that great,... now had it been rum,...well,.....that's a good way to start a war.

That's one thing you have to learn about me, and it's something my mom and brother still don't get, I like poking people just to see what they'll do. :laughing7: I know you're a Louisianan, and not like those freaks from San Fransico. I just poke people with teasing just to see if they'll clobber me or not.

Now remember, who showed up during WWI? Who sent aid, air support and troops in WWII? From what I've read, y'all weren't the best at bomber escorts, but you made up for it by taking out some Stukas, so I think we're even. :laughing7: I'll take Wales though, just so I can laugh at the accents. :laughing7:
