Good morning all.

Got a box from Amazon with "Heavy" stickers all over it. Now I know they say the population is getting weaker, but ... seriously? How is this heavy for a person whose job is to move boxes all day long?

Looks like I'll be starting a tackle company....or I guess I'm part of a new tackle company by default. I've been blue marlin fishing for a long time, and I needed a specialized tool that doesn't seem to exist. Well after alot of effort from my boss and I, we've invented and patented this fishing tackle tool, and it's hard not to get excited as it all comes together. Should be all wrapped up patent wise shortly, and I'll be able to unveil our new product !! I would love to launch it at "I-Cast" fishing trade show next season, and hope to have produced a batch of product by then....I'll be passing them out at tournaments and promotions soon, and I should be able to lock down a certain niche fishing market for customers....definitely gonna change the billfish sport fishing world some !! Feels strange to have gotten to this point in under a year, and now it's starting to set in that we really invented and patented something useful, and now it's time to sell it and profit !! Never thought it would happen, and now it feels surreal.
 

I'm going out fishing today to test my prototype....I have 3 tester prototypes. So far only 2 small modifications are needed in production models....but, one is a game changer for utility and marketing!! Super exciting stuff !!

Once, my daughter complained that we shouldn't be cutting down trees for Christmas.

I told her that, coming up, I grew enough trees for me. And that she could go grow her own.

I've been wondering about the patent process. It seems expensive & complicated. I have an idea that may be worth pursuing. All these "invent help" sites seem to do is ask for 20 grand for "start up" costs. They would take your money no matter what you submit. You can't trust their reviews because they manipulate them.
