Today's endeavor. About 8 tot lots fully cleared. Tons of effort not much return. The little earing backing possibly silver was not pleasant to recover in woodchips lol made me so mad. Oh and not sure how the pocket watch part ended up under the tot lot.

I recovered a fork or spoon out of chips and it was bad enough.
An earing back I'd have had to burn the chips. (Frowned on by the park people I'm sure. )

That earring back eluded me for some time lol tested my patience for sure

I'm pretty sure the earring backing is silver. The blackish areas removed with my polish rag and the removed stuff comes off black on the rag. Tiny but well I guess still silver lol

Well....you could be underwater, and have to dive up and down 25 times and hold your breath each time.....just to finally find an earring back !! The guys that use scoops miss all the earrings and backs.....they fall through the holes in the scoop. I don't use a scoop so I get earrings and backs where ever I hunt. All of them !! 😁

That looks like a good day of detecting. The key caught my eye. I searched for proof of my guess but I couldn’t find it. My guess was that it could have been a key to a Mary Kay car. Congrats on getting out and finding the goodies!
