This is where I work, and this boat and Dr. Burke were our neighbors on the dock. A few years ago we hired a crew member from this boat....she robbed us for hundreds of thousands, and was a professional con woman !! It was a horrible experience, and almost cost all of us our jobs......when we called about this crazy woman who used to work for them....the wife hung up on us !!

Our genius captain at the time decided to hire her from the bar, and never checked her credentials because she worked on "Jess Conn" !! Ya ...... I've worked for all these crazy peeps on there mega yachts !! I've lived and worked here for long stretches of my life !! I have a high clearance card.....essentially it's a slave tag.....it says I'm an essential and trusted slave and am aloud the highest clearance !! Now ain't I special !!

Remember that when you start pulling down 7-8 digit annual incomes.

Now why would someone from the Jess want to work with your former captains mess?

Wore a sweatshirt to the property yesterday evening.
So then the sun came out while I was working.
Cool morning today.
Youth hunt for deer is this weekend so good weather for today!
Mosquitos and flies though still..

I could hunt it as it's also a disabled allowed hunt. I usually stay out of it though. There's a disabled hunt in Oct. I'll start my season with.

Got a fresh mouse nest in the blind and lots of dead ants to clear out. Maybe today..
Mouse is using thistle down for bedding.

Seen mice use the snake sheds for nesting materials.
Nothing like sleeping with the enemy. 🤣
We have oak acorns again this year.
Been 3 yrs since we've had any.
Deer will be happy, and the Wood ducks.

Howdy crew!
Well the old guy pointed me in the right direction and I found the old cathouse site. The bad news is that the ridiculously heavy snows last winter busted a lot of limbs and buried the place in overburden and lots of new vegetation growing up through it. The foundation stones make it look like all the good stuff will be 1-2 feet down or more.
Probably have to go back and dig around a bit. There were square nails by the thousands, so a magnet is in order also.

Well that's the first step, finding the place.

I found a cellar hole today. Between the mosquitoes and the prickly Ash, high hay already, I went to cropped wheat field after a hour.

A totally black glass bead.
Kind of an ugly thing, but a top self eyeball recovery.
Got a cuff and a mashed 2 piece button as well.
