Well... Decided to stay ... we will start to get the whipping in about an hour or so...
Will be interesting to see how this plays out.... there is going to be mass flooding mostly north.
They say water will get pushed 25-30 miles inland in areas of landfall.
This is a historic event... very few storms have landed in that area.

Here is the kicker....

The worst flooding for all of us is gonna be AFTER the storm goes by...

The back side will be even worse... and its all going to be happening over night... in the dark... and if power goes... then it will be REALLY dark.

Was a better scene near the left coast today at Tahoe. Had a great ride around the lake in calm 76 degree weather.
Of course a quick stop for lunch and arterial lubricant.
To all our Floridians, good luck and stay safe!

Morning ARC, good to hear that you've still got your head above the impending water (really hope there's no issues).
Morning Pepps... naw... bands are rolling through as we speak... power is still on and water has not encroached .... YET. (Arc knocks on some wood).... (Rum barrel).

Now that you folks are well adversed in the storm category, I have a query.
This is the surge-does this happen pre/post/during, or all 3?
