1942 from the treasure machine....coinstar!!

Well I went to buy the lighter collection.... He had sold them to someone that showed up to buy Hot wheels and vintage comic books! ...And he had a rotating display, very nice with about 200 more lighters! Most (90%) in original boxes or blister packs. Camel, Marlboro, KISS, Led Zeppelin zippos.. 40-50 year old zippos. Slim zippos. A couple of cartier's 5-10 ww1 trench lighters and a bunch more! Lighters from Viet Nam, also all in perfect shape! DuPont, Ronson, Dunhill, Parker.... all in original boxes

The guy that bought "my" lighters had purchased them also, gave him a deposit. He said the guy was shaking as he bought them....

Just so you know... JUST one of those zippos is worth 200
Also... any Cartier or others of that caliber would fetch hundreds and hundreds and hundreds... and hundreds.

Not sure what you were asking yesterday but i would say this is gonna be the "treasureNet Blunder" of the year.

Errr years. heh

Furthermore... you should have been there buying EVERY comic and HotWheels he had...

Should have showed up first with stack of money and ready to buy.... would have gone down as the buy of the year here.

Sometimes collections are just not worth the hassle.
Then there's the one that got away.

Sure. I was the first person to contact him, according to him. I told him sold! I have cash and let me know where you live... I will be there.

Well what happened ? ? ? did he not respond ?
He did, after gave me his address... I got there quick. Someone buying something else (no idea) bought everything he saw! Including stuff he had not advertised yet....second lighter collection, hot wheels, comics... 20 centers NASCAR stuff...
