Indeed… after Cappy’s disconcerting disclosure on Wednesday I’m very aware of the need to put your minds At rest that I have not adopted his wild ways! …. oh yes we have a big 3 days of back to back swinging to dream of due to the bank holiday on Monday! xx

While dropping ing off the large collection of books the other day.
I met the young lady that said she was the artifacts coordinator for the centre.
She was telling me that they wanted to get rid of everything that wasn't associated with the mill, or blacksmithing operation.

" Over the years folks have donated their collections, pieces, estate articles to the museum.
Lots of the stuff has nothing to do with the focus is today.
There has been so much trading going on over the decades where somebody would trade an item for another item.
Then there's no record in the file where that item was from.
The original item isn't in the collection any longer.
So I just close the file"

I'm standing there thinking and going WTF!
Donate it to the museum and then there's a line up of trades going on in the back room?

I've really liked learning the go pro.....to bad I drowned the first one, and lost the second one !! Expensive hobby this gopro filming !! I lost some epic marlin footage that I was preparing to make a you tube video from.....now ill have to buy another one....#3 this season !!

What they don't say about the gopro.....you need a laptop thats dedicated just for the gopro. Also a small external hard drive is nice for storage. Then you'll need some editing software, and the patience to learn it. For every day of filming....be prepared to spend that same amount of time editing and putting together a good piece. If you want 4K quality you'll need even more power from your laptop for sure !! I really want to do a channel on shipwrecks.....new and old.....every week there are new cuban rafts, and new boat wrecks here in the keys.
