For sale on the local facebook market place. 125 bucks over 100 lighters.
Why.... in the #@##%$^ cant people take decent pictures? Some of the lighters are behind other lighters!:BangHead: There is room in the included case to display all of them. I edit, crop sharpen the image to try to see if there is something valuable. Last couple hours of research makes me just want to buy them.

There's lots of upside to the purchase. a good trench lighter could be the return on the $$$, even the rifles will give you the return on the investment.

There are a few lighters hidden also. Pics of the bottoms, brands etc....would make my research easier! I have blown up the images added brightness, sharpness. He says.... My lighter collection from all over the world. There are a few I do not recognize the shape/type. Hopefully.... if/ when I bring them home I will take good pics and show youse guys.

In 1990 I bought 20,000 sq ft of mixed leather hides at a shoe manufacturer auction.
Didn't know swat about leather, but at $3k I took the risk.
Borrowed the money from a buddy, paid him back with interest from a loan from the Mrs after realizing it's easier to sleep with the loan shark than getting eaten by one. :laughing7:

I called a leather wholesaler-got the run down on pricing and it was $2-15 sq ft.
Pig skin @ the low-beef hide for the high.
I made a big grid table to measure-graded-sorted got ready to sell.

Threw an AD in the big newspaper "Leather $2 sq.ft all colours"
Sold Wed/Sat. morning for 2hrs-Friday loaded the van did deliveries for a 1/2 day

Sold enough to live-sold the remaining 10,000 sq.ft to a hobby outlet for $10K
Best summer ever.
Went detecting the rest of the time.

Done the buying and selling all my life-still dabble.
It's just an easy, common sense, money maker.
In the auctions I always looked at the inventory as: They bought it-so there must be someone else out there in the market place as well.
Oh there was the : I ate lunch on the purchases-but that's where the school of hard knocks education came in-won't do that one again-ouch.

I was able to get behind the scenes for brave wilderness, and coyote Peterson is a really genuine good dude....Cristina and I met on instagram when she worked for the mosquito control. One day after meeting her there was a knock at the door and it was her checking my yard for standing water. So we met in person in my back yard, and agreed to collaborate one day and hit the mangroves for an adventure. During covid we met and I gave her a list of cool stuff us locals do that not many people know about....island activities.....it was gonna be for some discover Florida Channel shows. All these ideas were transferred over for a collaboration with her and coyote.....then I got invited to do a treasure hunting video, and wow.....some incredible offers and ideas are in the works, and I have a great opportunity. This tarpon episode was one of the ideas I put forth for them......my video will come out soon or later, and im scared and excited at the same time !!......we all had a blast and I learned alot about how things are done on these video shoots !!......and they paid me !! This is some kind of crazy ride im on right now !!

The good thing for me is, I bought a Tonka semi-truck from the same guy. I sold it on ebay for 4 times what I paid, so if there is a 700 dollar Dunhill in there.... He won't know!
I did an airport confiscated goods purchase. Post 9/11
4 tons of sorted sharp items confiscated from carry on bags.
(This amount was from 3 months only)
Pre water bottle ban time.
80-100lb bins
Sold the Bins @ $100ea.
The buyer would get around 300 knives.
Lots of Swiss Army type.
Sold 3000 knives to a fellow for $800.
He sorted, Ebay sold.
Found a gold Tiffany knife, and another high end knife in the lot.
Financed his detecting holiday to England, and still had lots left over.
I still have a few kicking around.(5gal.bucket)
I still give lots away, here want a knife.🤣

#1 rule
I never get miffed if the next person sells the item for more money.
It's a learning experience, and I applaud 👏 their abilities to make $$$.
Some folks get right up tight about such things.
But don't beat me down to make that deal sweeter.
It's a pay what I feel is a good deal, and best of luck.
When I bought and sold items I had a big base of folks to sell to.
They would tell me the wish list, then when I saw the item I would call them.
Establish a price.
So they said $500
If I bought for $100
I would deliver it and tell them $300.
Good business, easy money, trust, a long-term customer.

Built this one a couple years back. Picked up the base on the side of the road....it was rusty wrought iron did a antique wash and cleared it. Joined a scrap top together and cleared it. Flame cuban mahogany. Gonna give it away to the neighbor !!

The new improved extended mile Tesla :laughing7:View attachment 2046618
Good afternoon to all.
Funny thing I just heard a program yesterday from the Detroit Auto Show.
Featuring a company that has pop up wind/solar units when a person runs out of juice.
Liking the new Tesla wind mill.🤣
