Going to do a little project and take a rock specimen in to get identified. Has my curiosity going because for it's size it's very heavy and appears to be solid metal, highly magnetic. May just be some weird broken iron object but can't hurt to get it checked out because it is a bit of an oddity to me. For some reason heavier in comparison to things similar it's size that are iron. Came off as mid tone even though it's iron but not sure that matter as sometimes solid iron can do that.

Great I haven't really started it up yet.
Slow start feeling a tad lazy this am
Glad to hear it. Nothing wrong with being a bit lazy lol

Query to WD
When did you put the measurements up?
I never noticed the 3687 before
The 3687 has been up ever since I changed my username. They are not measurements. It’s my birthday backwards. So now that I told you, you will be in deep doo -doo if you forget. 🥳

I wish I could help you with the rock, JVA5th.
I'll take it into the college here I think their geology unit will look at it for free. With lucky its some sort of iron object that was broken up. But only reason I'm checking it is because it's super heavy, and the shape seems odd for broken iron junk but still sometimes things break weird and it could be that.

I have what is referred to as hot rocks. They are actually iron ore. Very prevalent in Ohio. Used to drive me nuts. Now they make me mad. 😂. Could be that’s what you have. But I don’t know.

Could be that. No idea. If they are here in this area in California there aren't a lot as it'd be the first time I've come across one

But that is indeed a good possibility just may be a rarer occurrence in my area. So definitely something it could be.

This one because it’s from Dayton, Ohio. The guy had $18.00 on it but offered to take $13.00. I can’t find any information on this one. The closest I could find was a Bee-Bee Confection Company but they produced and sold chewing gum. I even looked through my History of Dayton book. Zilch.

This is the first one I had to have. Why? Because it’s from Piqua, Ohio. Most expensive one, too. $30.00. I have no idea why it’s so pricy. I did find one online that sold for $47.00. It claimed to be from the 1860’s. So, I don’t think I paid too much. There’s a house in Troy, Ohio that Richard Brandriff built in 1847. He was a Methodist Preacher, druggist, grocer, and dry goods merchant. I haven’t found any information about the bottle, just about him. He was an abolitionist and a conductor for the Underground Railroad.
