I thought ours was a convection, I did not know when it is up off the floor it has nowhere to vent. I guess a regular stove/oven vents out the back or bottom?

I’m purdy sure ours vents out the roof.

OV, Ours has a hood over the stove which vents outside in the carport.

I'm not a fan of big cities either. Most of California's big cities have gotten way terrible I avoid them even more these days. Though also I've lived in the country my whole life so city life is odd to me and not my forte.

I live in a town of 6,500. I have been here since 1969.. 4 years old. But, in order to shop, concerts...etc...we had to venture ut of the "normal". Back in the day big cities were different. We attended concerts in Portland mostly but had to go to 'Frisco for a few.

I venture out reluctantly every now and again but isn't worth it much these days around here

Growing up we had this old Tom cat. We had it down to a science, bring tree in put it in the stand wait, wait.....
20 lb cat would be 3/4 the way up the tree.
Then we could decorate, and all was good.
Seemed to be this ritual that went on every year, till the artificial tree arrived, then he wasn't interested after that.

Thanks Jim, we had a dog that loved to eat the long icicles that we'd hang from the tree. It was a lot of fun seeing them come out 24hrs later clean as a whistle too.
