My advice. Not worth much says the bride. Stay outside the flood plain. Insurance is much better but still high. My son just went through 3 hurricanes this past summer. His deductible is really high to make the insurance cheaper. Just my thoughts.
Didn’t mean to get up in your business.

Good evening, pirates! Life’s been keeping me busy. Struggling trying to get my dad the vaccine. Nearly 100,000 people in his age group in his county and only 1600 shots. I did manage to get him on a wait list. Just like the military, hurry up and wait.

Funny story that those who have kids/grandkids: my son and his lady are trying to potty train the 3 year old daughter. They put her in underwear and told her that she needs to pee on the potty since she doesn’t have a diaper on. A few minutes go by and my son here’s water running in the bathroom . He goes to check and find her standing on the toilet on the lid washing her hands. He starts praising her for peeing on the potty when he discovers that she actually peed while standing on the lid. LOL all over the potty.

And in other news: I have cataracts in early stages on my eyes. Explains a lot. Getting old stinks!

For Noah:

I have a book titled “ Civil War Soldiers of Greater Cleveland.” I was kind of curious if the CW guy that you were writing about might be in there? I found the book a couple years ago in a Krogers in Port Clinton.

You probably have a few years before you have to have anything done.
I've got one on the right eye, blurry even with glasses. I guess the rock started it when I was just a lad.
Then the knuckle sandwich at the booking counter finished it off.
Yup the school of hard knocks.8-)

Block construction... mile or two off beach... spare room with closet of Rum for when I visit.... perfect.

:P

Yep it’s a wait and watch thing for now. I have been struggling to see details in pics on the phone. Blaming it on the old phone. Got a new bigger phone and still don’t see things very well. I have to drag out the laptop and well, I have just been getting all flustered over it. Maybe, maybe, the new glasses will help a little though. Prescription hasn’t changed much. The lenses are a mess on this pair.

Night crew.

Off to never never land.

It seems once the protective coating starts to go the lens scratch really easy.
Time for a new prescription and lenses so I have to put that on hold. Not getting close to nobody. They recommended years ago that I should have the pressure tested in the one eye every 6 months, did you years.:laughing7:

We were talking about my dad and how he’s held up going through his grieving process during all of this isolation and unrest.
I said, “He’s doing pretty good for someone who will be turning 90 in May.”
Mr WD said, “ Yea, he’s really been in pretty good health most of his life.”
I said,” That’s because he never went to the doctors and had all the crap pushed on him.”

IDK I think a lot of that is a bunch of pill pushing and testing and procedures for the money. A person has to do what they feel is right for themselves.
