Afternoon all, hope all is well and you're all having a fine day.
Bright and sunny-2C feeling like -8C
Should of went detecting today, no mud, everything is firm under foot.

With the cold snap in FL it must have been raining frozen iguanas!

That guitar is probably a national treasure.....probably worth more than a 1715 wreck !!
I must clarify, the JE160 is a reissue tribute guitar, with John Lennon signature in gold on the upper bout above the end of the neck. I referenced the guitar in the "I'M A LOSER" video so one would know of which guitar I was talking about.
Rickenbacker has also issued a Lennon Signature model 325 guitar, the most associated with Lennon, as well as Epiphone with the Casino he played on the roof top concert.
John and George both ordered Gibson JE160's from RUSHWORTH's MUSIC STORE, Liverpool, and was shipped from Gibson on September 27, 1962. They were first heard on "Love Me Do" and a JE160 has been used on about 86% of all Beatle recordings.
The guitar that was John's was stolen after a Christmas show in 1963, and the one he plays in the afore mentioned video and in the movie "HELP" was George's.
What became of John's Gibson JE160 serial # 73161 is still unknown, and if found would be worth a tidy sum indeed.

Supper tonight is pork chili verde with some brocolli on the side and some cottage fries in the air fryer.

Tomorrow marks the 79th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, by the empire of Japan, and the start of Americas involvement in WWII

Well.....gosh darn treasure tales.....everybody in an uproar down here....the coconut telegraph is crackling with stories of a gold coin find off the newfound harbor keys....particularly in the area of little munson island/little palm resort. Seems a local conch family (im checking on the name) has made a strike of gold coins.....they are melting them for scrap value and selling the crude bars. There was a similar story a couple years back on cook island. I've done some recon and I think I'm getting close to the spot. This group is looking for help from a fellow hu ter down here....the cat Is out of the bag now and I know one boat is on the way down today all the way from keylargo. My treasure HQ is right there so we will do some looking around.....ill get the boys to drop me close with kyak, detector, and probe. They can drop me off on there way out to mag, and pick me up on the way in. Can't be our wreck because our wreck pre dates the minting of gold coins in the new world. I think we have a ships gold coin payroll, and these coins are american.
henry flagler paid in gold coins to railroad staff, got your pm its all about new owners so going slow....palm island is like 2000 a night maybe recent drops..haha

Whats going on here??? Its been a rough year.Shortly after we returned from 4 week Fla.vacation (a year ago) my wife was diagnosed with parkinsons. Anyhow, loooong story short after many trips to UVA and Duke we are doing fine. Some rough days, but Now, more good ones, than worse ones.
So whats new here ?

God bless you roger....glad to here from ya. Welcome back.

Morning Pepper. Morning Dave
