Here's my holster not as fancy as yours Dave but is made of quality PVC and Gorilla tape :laughing9:

I'm liking your version, rough, tough, and fixable.:icon_thumleft:

Dave,

Good luck detecting hope you bring home the goodies!

Were having strong wind one minute then nice and calm....pretty dark out though !! Looks like my childhood home in the bahamas will get smashed....only one of 3 homes is even still there !! Hope it makes it even though we dont own it any longer. The other 2 were carried away over the years by hurricanes.

Wife asked me last night: "As seeing the contractor isn't coming tomorrow. I'm wondering if you could help me pick up all the clipping piles I've got?"

Reply: " I'm going out to play"

Wife: "I didn't see that one coming" :laughing7:

He even looks the black bart type !!

20200801_082839.webp the red marks are where our homes were in comparison to the storm....the storm surge there will be horrible !! That's the island of andros.....hopefully my friends have evacuated inland !! The island is very large and has some good high ground !!

Yes the .177 just stings um. I'm not mad enough to kill um. If I kill one I'd have to clean the darn thing. Way to much effort.

i carry a cheap 22 pistol with stingers around the place for snakes and wild dogs

Yep,
Caught one red handed yesterday morning. Didn't have my .177 handy so just scared her off. Peas are done now. Probably Bush hog today since its going to be cooler today.

Nobody answered my question last time so I'll ask again. Would a lil cayenne pepper sprinkled on plants keep critters away? :dontknow:

Whadifind
On some critters but not all. I couldn't afford enough pepper for the hole garden and deer would just step over it to get to the peas. Electric fencing is the answer but then you can buy veggies cheaper than the protection investment.

You could try something I used to do. Sprinkle some Comet or Ajax cleanser on the fences. They get a snootful of that and they'll go away. For a while.:evil6:

You just gotta get out there more and "mark your territory" LOL!

Thanks!

I LIKE THE stingers as well but I've found that for target shooting stingers tend to spray on the target. Sometimes a less powerful load of 22 rounds shoot better in my rifle if I'm shooting for precession which is not often. Buy the way, have you noticed how much ammo has gone up in price? I was at my favorite gun dealer yesterday buying some 9mm and looked down at some 22's. They have gone really high. My 9mm ammo has gone up 7 bucks a box. I believe uncertainty is driving the price up. Even on weapons. If you're looking to be a weapon. I'd buy it now. My dealer told me the price goes up with every shipment.

Oh brother !!......it is really lining up for me....got the report from islamoradamark.....were at half tide now and going lower, we have NNE winds, sea weed is breaking up in large clumps, and I already found the 1732 pillar and globes. You cannot miss it when the conditions are screaming...GO NOW...it should get better and better the next couple days as the wind clocks off shore !! Wooo hooo I'm outta here !!
