I have to say this Dave, I can't hold this secret any longer-sorry.

Folks the picture of the pin-pointer in the beautiful oiled leather "Pancake-Style Pin-Pointer Holster"

Is actually a photo of part of Dave's hunting gear after 6 hrs of detecting in the muddy farm fields. :laughing7:

I just don't know how this man manages to look so GQ after slogging through the dirt.:dontknow:

I come off looking like I've been rolling around in the pig pen.

You kill me Jim! :laughing9:

My Mother always taught me to clean up and put away my toys properly when I was finished playing.

Why do you think I ways have a white face-cloth tucked in my back-pocket... it's to dust off my detector every 20mins to keep it looking like new. :laughing7:

Good morning Bill, Bart & Toe!

Surprise, surprise, surprise, Good morning on a Saturday!

BTW Dave that's a smart looking holster-I didn't know that you were needing one.
I must have 3or4 new ones from all the different pointers I've bought over the years laying around in the shop. Oh did I just say shop.....:laughing7:

I never thought to ask you Jim, I forgot that you have a dedicated holder for your pointer on your detecting rig.

I appreciate your offer though.

The recipe was good btw....however, if you give it a try add some zest of lemon or some fresh squeezed lemon juice to cut the sweetness of the corn a bit.

Well tonight we're having a summer corn pasta dish. We don't have any pancetta so bacon it is and I'll whip up a side salad from the garden lettuce, cukes, tomato and some green onions.

Morning Rusty! :hello:
How's the weather in Kentucky these days?

I subscribe to a channel on YouTube dedicated almost entirely to the different types of farm tractors and field equipment used in your state.
It's very interesting to see the way the farmers harvest and rotate their crops year round.

Morning bill, TC, RR

Anyway, I'm off to do the grocery shopping.
I finished the laundry this morning, so I'm going detecting this afternoon. :laughing7:
Hope you all have a great day! :sunny:

Here's my holster not as fancy as yours Dave but is made of quality PVC and Gorilla tape :laughing9:

Thar be treasure on them shores... arrrrrrrrrr gggg.

That thing is gonna rip up and cough up the 1715.

All that sand will be washed out onto the reef line... but beach areas should be down and naked in some areas... huge cuts may exist.

I am half tempted... would love to make a road trip... just so much going on right now.

Ya know...

I imagine a storm route / track similar to this one... is responsible for the 1715 disaster.

And from a 1715 salvor's perspective... this storm should be a blessing.

Not too strong... perfect track positioning... etc.

Ditto to everything you said ARC I could not help thinking that a track like this one was what sent those 1715 ships to the beach !!

That Gorilla tape is amazing stuff... it takes my wife forever to work her way out of it. :laughing7:

Cool pointer holster too!

Yes the .177 just stings um. I'm not mad enough to kill um. If I kill one I'd have to clean the darn thing. Way to much effort.
