Well made my 2nd pot of :coffee2: already this morning-me's forgot the simple task of putting in the coffee in the first one.

Jim,

Well if you want to know what to do with the water running down the hill.....dig out a pond and stock it with trout. There's another project to keep you busy....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

I just filled in the area that would of worked well for a small pond, with the blue clay from the other big one we dug deeper.

Holding 3.75ft on the one end and 6ft on the new end.

Next year I'll stock it with piranhas so then there's little evidence left.:laughing7:

It's been a busy week for you Jim... I'll cut you some slack just this one time.

Man I sure wish the grocery stores opened at 6am here, it'd sure be nice to get the grocery shopping done by 7:30am.
That way I'd have more quality time to spend with my detector on the weekend... oh yeah and my wife. :laughing7:

Good morning peeps!! Weather is not bad. Besides the squall early last night we have had pretty good weather....not bad at all. So far so good !! Still no offshore breeze....maybe later it will shape up for a hunt !!

Yep,
Caught one red handed yesterday morning. Didn't have my .177 handy so just scared her off. Peas are done now. Probably Bush hog today since its going to be cooler today.

Thar be treasure on them shores... arrrrrrrrrr gggg.

That thing is gonna rip up and cough up the 1715.

All that sand will be washed out onto the reef line... but beach areas should be down and naked in some areas... huge cuts may exist.

I am half tempted... would love to make a road trip... just so much going on right now.

Ya know...

I imagine a storm route / track similar to this one... is responsible for the 1715 disaster.

And from a 1715 salvor's perspective... this storm should be a blessing.

Not too strong... perfect track positioning... etc.

There are options in the world that I used to like in the city Dave.

#1: Was there are many grocery stores that are open 24/7-for those who wish to shop anytime they feel like it.

Live on the wild side change grocery stores.......:laughing7:

I don't know if any of you have had this issue... but I've now worn out two of my pin-pointer belt mounted holsters. :BangHead:
The stitching has a tendency to come apart at the top where the loop attaches to the holster body.
I've tried to glue and secure them with heavy staples, but nothing seems to work.

I contacted the company directly who supplies these to the dealers and was told, "that you can't buy the holster as a separate item." :icon_scratch:
I did find a dealer in Western Ontario who had a few of the 'nylon holsters' kicking around and he was willing to sell one to me for $40 + shipping = $50cdn

So instead, I decided to go online and order one from my buddy Brad Martin (GMMD), he makes them to spec and sells them through his website.

I have the main garden up in an old horse coral area.
Right next to a deer track and it has been a challenge over the years.
But there's an understanding that if they take-I'll take.

I put up some barrier guards at the gate entrance the other day, took down some maple branches and leaned them up also.
Just enough to get them on their way.

The .177 makes a sting, neighbour kid shot me in the leg 50+ yrs ago.
That turned into a full out war 700 pellets later, a grounding for 2 weeks, a pellet gun ban for 2 months, and a good whacking across the back of the head-with a "What were you thinking!?" He shot first-whack!

Good morning Bart glad the storm seems to have run out of steam.

I have to say this Dave, I can't hold this secret any longer-sorry.

Folks the picture of the pin-pointer in the beautiful oiled leather "Pancake-Style Pin-Pointer Holster"

Is actually a photo of part of Dave's hunting gear after 6 hrs of detecting in the muddy farm fields. :laughing7:

I just don't know how this man manages to look so GQ after slogging through the dirt.:dontknow:

I come off looking like I've been rolling around in the pig pen.

Morning Bill:hello:

Looks like we're going to get a nice soaking tomorrow.

BTW Dave that's a smart looking holster-I didn't know that you were needing one.
I must have 3or4 new ones from all the different pointers I've bought over the years laying around in the shop. Oh did I just say shop.....:laughing7:
