Screenshot_20200731-150457_MyRadar.webp tip of the spear....let's hope she skims by....gonna get some wind either way.

Um... actually... this thing is startin to shape up... I am starting to see some organizing going on.

It is floating on pure fuel ... nothing to stop strengthening now.

Bart... I am nervous for you AND myself... this thing starts cranking and shifts west... um...

Its balls to the wall.

Well if ya can... do it.
Hunt in ALL METAL and dig it all.

Um... First... I think you might to need to keep watching storm for now though... heh
A minor miscalculation... off by miles... = track waaaaaayyy off.

Anyway... remember Irma ?
Last minute shift is ALWAYS a factor.
Timing is everything...in this game....go to early and access can be an issue....wait a day to long and its sanded back in. Got to be there when a beam of light is shining from heaven and theres the sound of a church choir in the background AAAAHHHHHHH !! That's when all the beeps are spanish treasure !!

Sorry if going on about this... but this is a little too close for comfort.. and I don't think the media news has pressed the possibilities and rely too heavily on tracks and forecasts.

Which have been in the past notoriously wrong.

Man has tried to predict the weather since the dawn of time.

We are close... but then there is what mother nature decides.

This is what I call the "Mother Nature X Factor".

ARC, Bart, ECS stay safe with that storm coming your way.

Well tonight we're having a summer corn pasta dish. We don't have any pancetta so bacon it is and I'll whip up a side salad from the garden lettuce, cukes, tomato and some green onions.

Well heres to a sucking west wind and a near miss.....this is what I need to unearth another pillar dollar. Both irma and dorian gave me banner cobbs !! If it can blow offshore long enough to clear the sargasso weed off the beach....well then....I just may get some spanish treasure of king felipe V !! Dang man.....I'm on high alert from here on out !! All my stuff is good I'm bird dogging the treasure spots now !! Look out vero....if it's good...and it should be....I'm going up to hunt some 1715 stuff !! But the first half of this treasure hunt starts here and now.....wind is already picking up !! Woooo hoooo !! Someone is gonna find some spanish after this blow !!

That’s the spirit!

5pm Advisory... and again a click to the west.

Hmmmm might kick up some Spanish somewhere. And I don't mean on the ocean. ( remember, I've always said these things we find do not *want* to be found! Even "banner" ones! )
Mother nature might be coming to reclaim!

Be safe all in the path!

Thing is trying to organize... not sure if it will pull its act together fully or what.

might be taking the "jog over" slight east as well.

Ehhh just spewing out observations... via Dvorak radar..

Well I chopped up some cucumbers, etc....to make a relish. First step cover the ingredient with water and a good whack of salt and allow to set over night to draw off the moisture.

Tomorrow drain and rinse and process for pickling.

Got an offer on my banner pillar dollar !! I spent so many years looking for that coin that it makes it hard to sell. I also think I could get more in the long run. It is a good offer and I could buy 2 new sawmills for what hes offering !! I would hate to go in the shop and see it in the treasure case for twice what I got !! I still haven't made up my mind !! I think there will always be someone who wants that piece. It truly is a tier 1 collectors piece.

I'm of the opinion Bart, that we can't take it with us when we go. I tend to either sell, give away as gifts or donate the relics I find. I do keep the best stuff for myself though. I can also appreciate that you've only recently found this piece, so you might want to covet it a while longer. But if it was me and I could use the cash, I'd sell my Mother to buy a new detector! :laughing7:

Just kidding Mom!

And how much is your mother ? ? ?

:P !

And how much is your mother ? ? ?

:P !

She used to be worth a lot more back in the day, so much so that my Dad said that he'd never trade her in on a newer model.

They ended up getting divorced in 1982 after 31 years of marriage.

ARC,

You're such a card....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

I guess as detectorists we work so dang hard for our finds it's hard to give them up. The missus gets all the ladies gold jewelry. I've only sold a few men's gold rings, I've given away a fair amount of silver jewelry because the melt value for the most part is a joke.

I've still got a whack of men's jewelry funny thing is I don't even wear jewelry but just have a hard time parting with it....must be the packrat in me.....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:
