Dave,

Your humility is amazing....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

I had my first pub outing in 4 months and I have to admit it was great to see the old crowd! They keep me humble we spent our time dumping on each other...:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

The odds are good that because of recent infections they may very well close down the bars again.

That would be unfortunate as the pub owner has decided if they shut down again the pub gets closed for good.

In any even we exchanged contact info and by hook or by crook we'll keep our little band of thieves intact.

I've been frequenting this pub for 13 years and the regular bar maid Melanie advised that she'll find another job in her area if they close down for good.

It'll break her heart and ours if it comes to that but life goes on!

I love brown Crowder peas but why aren't they a fall crop?`I guess I could but damn it's hot pickin now. Gonna tear up my ground and try again this fall. Maybe in anew place. Greens in the old place. Rotating crops is a good thing.

Well I'm not exactly looking for a new career at age 56 WD, but I wouldn't mind trying something a little different for a change. I've been selling construction equipment for German, American & British manufactures for the past 30 years. I'm thinking about looking into working for the Parking Authority in my city. One of my pet peeves are the people who illegally park in handicapped parking spots, people who park at the end of a driveway blocking the sidewalk and those who park blocking fire hydrants. :BangHead:

But the value that I bring to a company are my industry contacts, my knowledge of the construction market and of course my sparkling personality! :laughing7:

I do appreciate your advice though!
Dave

Use whatever you can and just throw the rest away. :icon_thumleft:

The bucks were feeding in a clearng by the road side. There were three that were absolute brutes. I've hunted for years now, and those were the biggest ones I've personally laid eyes on.

Funny how you mention the hunter/client relationship strategy. It doesn't work. I've talked to some girls before, but not a lot. What one must remember is, I'm home-schooled in the middle of freakin' nowhere. Human interaction for me is rare, not to mention female interaction which is doubly rare and terrifying regardless of how I look at it.

I've already made up my mind that I cannot get a girlfriend/wife because of my career path.

1. Railroad conductor. Railroad conductors are gone almost 24/7, and even at night. I cannot put someone through that, or worse, find them with someone else because I'm always gone.

2. Heavy mining / excavator work. Same reasons as stated above.

3. Mine trucking / ore hauling / dump trucks in general. Same reasons as stated above.

It's weird to want something, yet not being able to get it because you're too stubborn to change your life choices.

That leaves just being exposed/around females then as a manner of "conditioning" ,so to speak. The unfamiliar is ,unfamiliar...

Those bucks would have my attention. They could be miles away before season. As well as more elusive. A good sight to see though! For sure.
Someone , or some group did a study on hawks that a writer compared to hunters.
With prey in sight , heart rate increased. When sighted prey was not obtainable /trigger to pursue allowed , heart rate reduced.
Where prey was obtainable after sighting , heart rate stayed up.
Not unlike hunters.
Or teen youth guys around some gals , sometimes....:laughing7:

I'm tellin' ya, whoever get's those bucks this year (maybe) will be one happy camper indeed. If I had my best guess, the one already scored 150, and he still has while to grow.

I believe I'm unfamiliar with the human race in general. :laughing7:
