Well man... I am used to being "awake and doing something" by sunrise... and it takes some coffee to do that.

I could just blame a slow coffee maker :P

But no... that whn I watch some news... chill... drink coffee... smoke a cig or 2 and sorta get my head right before the day begins.

Me and the dogs.

She gets up roughly an hour after wheatever time I awake.

And... Early rise kinda stems stems from Flea Market days.

Well arc I got 2 cats....the little one with no tail can be as wild as a bobcat....she likes to speed through the house tearing things up at 5 am. Climbing the door jams, tearing things up, beating up the other cat and generally waking up everyone !! I try to lay there till 6 pretending I'm asleep...but that stubborn little terror will not cease until the food is in the bowl !! Often I get up feed the cat and then take a nap from 6 -7 with the news playing in the background !! And then at 7 it's time for java !! Oh my gosh...its 705....I'm late for my coffee.

Good morning Bill,

It's been a little cooler the past few days here in Central Ontario.
We're in a cottage about 60kms east of Bracebridge.

My daughter and I have Jet-Ski's rented for a few hours this afternoon... I hear that you've been getting some rain in your part of the province?

Jim, I was just wondering about the rest of these amazing looking finds? :icon_scratch:

Did you find these at the same site that you found the cannonball at, what exactly am I seeing here...

It looks like you had a great day out!
:hello2:

You remember the Xmas tree site where I found the silver thimble and on the east end of the field where I got the 1740 1/2 Reale.
I went back to that end because of the excavation work, nothing in the piles.
So I tried for something in the lower field where they had said there was a Native summer camps, nothing on a quick scan.
But I ended up in the area blow the field, been in there once before nothing but this time I ventured into the bush line.
I found a spring, there was bits of iron, which lead me back up the hillside to the cellar hole perched just below the raise.

There's a bangle, bezel off a pin, anther piece of something under the holed token (laying right on surface) as the cuff button.
Things ranged from surface-under foundation rock.
2 Wellington Tokens
A couple of buttons have a design-the black on sitting on top of the boded token has a crude looking beaver type image. Will clean them up today if time allows.
Lots of knee crawling under the cedar bows, and vines.

Jim, you'll be happy to know that I've taken my apron off, I've let my 'man bun' down and I've put the Swiffer Sweeper in the closet. :laughing9:

You know how I feel about you going out on the permissions down here dressed up like that-scares them farmers seeing you city folk-now living in the big smoke for 25 I'm used to seeing the urban wildlife roaming around.:laughing7:

Good morning RR. Go have breakfast and meet that waitress !!:laughing7::icon_thumleft:

I stopped off at the permissions farm stand yesterday to drop off a few thank you gifts.
Being Sunday they don't work, but they had the eye candy working the farm gate market.
I thought of you Rusty, though she was 6' tall. That is intimidating for some guys.:laughing7:

Good morning AARC, Antiquarian, Bart, Bill, Pepperj, Rook, Rusty, and the rest of the scallywags!

Yay Pepperj found treasure for the rum fund!

Bart is at it again with an accomplice. How many close encounters have you had with sharks?

Antiquarian- oooh, sexy!

Rusty one of these days treasure will snag your heart.

I’m waiting for my treasure to walk through the door after a week of vacation and staycation. Bart, he has a good one for ya!

Morning WD

Actually I'm more stocked at finding my first possible cannon ball (I'm hoping)
Now I have something to load the cannon to put a hole through the rum door, or at least blow the locking device apart. :laughing7:

Morning WD....I luffed sail so you could catch up to the ship. Hope mr WD has a good story and not some bad luck boat story....I've had everything that can go wrong happen in the last 2 months !!

But you told me that you liked how I dress when we're detecting Jim... at least what I wear keeps me from getting mistaken for a deer!

Morning WD.

I do tend to clean like a neurotic squirrel... especially when we're staying at a rented cottage that's disgustingly dirty when we arrive. :censored:

Gee I never realized me ears were so big!
See I blend right in Dave-no attention-just another swinging buck out in the fields.:laughing7:

The photos of the cottage tells of the type of rental it might of been.

Been there done that on rentals as well in FL. Show up and start cleaning, at least then one knows the place is safe.
Shower curtains can be down right scary.

We had one rental the the bedroom fan blades looked like a Tilt-A-World ride when we turned it on.
Tried to straighten out the blades and snapped one right off-went out and bought another set of replacement parts, fixed the fan.
The owner was so happy I took care of the fan, he payed me back, and did an amazing job on the upgrading of movie channels/internet/phone packages.:icon_thumright:
