The "Peralta" Stone Maps --- On Their Own

Are you thinking of the announcement of another documentary the poster had said was gong to be televised this year ?
It was supposed to feature Gwynn and a few other LDM hunters, as well as Wayne and Frank ?
I haven't seen anything since.

documentary will examine lost dutchman myth

Apparently in post-production right now, which puts it right on track for the release date it promised.

I'm not involved in that mess. They are filming and digging. Filming and digging. The man with the magic cane said the treasure is there. Oops! The gpr guys snuck in and dug it up while no one was looking. That's the second treasure they ran off with.

That site has a marked catcus too! Except Bob Ward had more artistic tallent when he made his.

Paul. In that first photo is that you with a shovel?

That is me but no shovel - heck, I carry as little as I possibly can when I'm out there. That was the ride that Rick took us on to see his site a couple Rendezvous' back I think - that was the one where Rick has just gotten out of hospital and had no business being out at the Don's camp much less taking us for a tour.

I think I was just getting ready to go down in the arroyo and look at the indentation Rick said was the tunnel entrance that had been packed full of debris and dirt from flooding.

So the blunderbusser (as Sal would call it) cave is all cleaned out too??? I forgot about that football size ruby as well as the book on the table and a bunch of skeletons

paul...the cave that rick showed everyone was not the blunderbuss cave ward told about..if i remember it was in a shallow canyon or wash and in limestone or dacite..i saw it years ago and it wasnt big enough to have anything the size of a table in it..that is the cave that was shown to mr. k. (the guy with the magic stick as frank called it) by rick.....my friend that knew bob showed us another location where bob's cave was..not exact location but close...one of bob's ex wives or g/f's had shown the area to my friend.....same section..7 i believe but about 1/4 mile away

Your description of what Rick showed us and where Kesselring supposedly used his "stick" to identify things sounds like the same place that's in the picture of Wayne and I except it did look like if there had once been a cave/tunnel there it probably could have been big enough to hold a table and other things.

It wouldn't surprise me however to find out that Rick didn't show us the correct spot - after all, why in the world would anyone show that to someone before finding out what's under there themselves. One sort of funny thing though, if that was NOT the right place, I thought Rick said that Kesselring used his "stick" to identify where all the items were that were supposedly in there - now how could he do that if it was the wrong place??? Maybe it has something to do with the quality of his stick :)

its been a few years but the site my friend pointed out that was the supposed correct site was a hillside....i don't know about you guys but if i was going to have a headquarters with a desk/storage room for weapons i wouldn't put it in the bottom of a wash so it would flood and fill with water every time it rained...just saying

Hope everyone is having a good day out there. I just wanted to tell everyone I decoded the stones last night, hopped a red-eye to Phoenix and have already returned to Tennessee with all the treasure. It ended up being right under our noses the whole time. Of course I can't post pictures because the Illuminati may be after me but you just have to trust that all the gold is now in a big Brinks truck and also while there I found 5 more stones that led to a McDonald's in Mesa but I haven't had time to follow up on that.

Also found a lifetime membership to Netflix and a floppy disk with a very early AOL installation.

In all seriousness folks, why in the world would anyone take a treasure and bury it out in the middle of nowhere? I'm still hung up on the grey stones. Like they said with OJ if the glove doesn't fit you must acquit I can understand the Aztecs hiding stuff from the Spanish. But where ever whatever is hidden it's probably not going to be found anytime soon. I don't see how and Jesuits got in and out of there without the Apaches tearing them a new one too..

If your going to hide a treasure it will be where someone can keep a eye on it. If your mining during that time period and you can't haul it all out you stash what you can't haul. Get it on a second trip. If the Apache knock everyone off. eventually someone may uncover it

whew, im getting lost help me out
we have an article on a Rafael Grijalva in 1887,
about treasure/map stone, and somehow a Roy Bradford
and a Charlie Miller, got the same stone, maps from
Adolph Ruth, and that was in the 1930s maybe.
bear with me,or are these the same maps that Adolph Ruth
got from his son, that the son had acquired in mexico
i cant put my finger on it, but something is wrong here
just a note Jacob Waltz was still living and im guessing
in good heath and read the newspaper in 1887
prob way off base, LDM and stone maps is hard to follow without a ton of notes

Mabe there are three maps for three family members, each map is very similar but possessed different additional information. Read something about that a few years ago.

20 here, 8 there, 5 more made, 1 at the museum, Texas maps, map molds, ground maps, hide map, barn maps, .........

EVERYBODY'S GOT A MAP!!!!!

Back then it was mail order maps>............now it will be "AS SEEN ON TV MAPS".

Happy Mapping Everybody!!

Bill did you order your map yet?

Perhaps one long time line is in order. Start at the beginning. Date available documents. When various stones appeared and people involved. As info becomes available fit it into the timeline. How does the evidence connect. Does the Miller stone have a connection to the ground map? The participants are long gone and you can only go on what they left behind. That and look at their actions. I don't think even they knew what the target was. Old mines, treasure or caches? My experience to date is old mines. With old mines the is a possibility of caches of ore. I have a problem with anyone hauling treasure into the area. They had enough problems getting ore out. Picture a large party hauling treasure into the mountain back in the day. The Apache would be well aware of who what and where things were stashed. How about a peek. Is there a Apache history of that type event? I'm sure they could use some cash. It was not that long ago.
