What the heck does posts 1430-1434 have to do with the topic - DO TREASURES HAVE REAL SPIRITS? ??? :icon_scratch: :dontknow:

NO ONE will post a good haunted-treasure tale? :BangHead: Must be no one knows any more stories?

It's OK, we all BS and dream some, and it fills in the gaps.

A new Treasure Spirit story you say?

We may have to go out and Scare one up...:laughing7:... :cross:

Hey - I haven't seen _anything_ about the Black Hills of Dakota :-(
Maybe it's time for some of those? (and don't expect _me_ to fill ya in - I'm a complete blank!)

Oro?

Cor, Oro and all. Almost every lost mine has a spiritual - NOT religious - story attached to it. .Most are simply that once someone finds a treasure they cannot find their way out, until they out it back. Up at the Tayopa zone there is a spot where a small entrance leads to a series of tunnels due to the undercutting of the limestone base by the Mayo river
..
several have entered then found a small shallow lake , on both sides there are multiple tunnels etc, \
they claim that there are nuggets of free gold on the floor and the lake. When they pick up the nuggets they cannot remember which of the many exits lead to the exit, so eventually they hear a voice saying "all or nothing" so when they return the gold they suddenly remember which is the correct exit. Nothing will persuad them to renter.

ctually there are several areas along the Mayo's course in the Tayopa zone in which this occurs.

Gee, Don Jose, that's interesting; though it sounds spooky! I love spooky stories! I've got another one or two, but haven't been able to recall them lately. I guess the 'old age factor' is keeping the brain cells from working properly; or maybe the spooks are haunting me enough that I can't remember. lol

Yes Don Jose

You're stories are the Best!

That would be tough, and attention
getting, for sure. Don't know that I
would go back in after that... :cross:

Where'd ever'body go to? The campfire is out, not even a live coal left! I'm the only one here; it's lonely. I guess I'll just wait for a little while to see if anybody shows up. If not, I may just get into my bedroll and sleep most of the day.
Hmmm, no one here yet. I started to build a fire, but too lazy at the moment to gather the wood. Just sitting here on my bedroll getting sleepier.
Just happened to think of a few things that I really need to do; instead of sitting here or going to sleep.
I'll go get some 'need to be done' things done and return later.
Oh, just one little thought. Has anyone had any experience with the little Walther PPK/S pistols in the .22 LR caliber? I got one the other day. Only shot two mags through it. Seems like an excellent little plinker.
Still haven't got any more stories to tell at the moment.

Senor TexasRed, I just checked in and wondered the same, where did everybody go in the Treasure Legends, our regulars like Señor Crow, Señor Don Jose, our lovely Señorita Mastiff, Señor Oro and others…….
Gee, leave the forum for a few days as I return to Ecuador and ???

Good Evening!!! I ran as fast as I could to join you all here. Putting the fire on. Brought our banjo. Just don't know how to quite play it. Any takers? Twang, twang. Whoops. Just broke a string. :)

Hmmmn 8-)

Nice banjo pickers samplin's. :laughing7:

Not sure where some amigos are at. :metaldetector: :coins: :treasurechest: :dontknow:
Good to see those that have gotten back in from the
field, and worked in time to stop by ... :cross:

Releventchair, those two girls are great!
So is Steve Martin! Won't mention Kermit--lol. Guess he's ok too.
'Oh, Brother' was a great movie. I've watched it several times. Really love that type of music.
Well, I'll be back later, probably tomorrow, but I'll be around! I may get a chance to check back before bedtime.
Everybody have a great evening!

Vaya con Dios

Egualamente, Doc D. Mil gracias. Gearing up for an action packed self defense training course over the weekend. Should be interesting. I'll be back soon, and make some of my special homemade chili, in exchange for a story or two? :) Whoop. Car is loaded and I am off for a good session. See ya!!! Keep the fire burning for me, for our circle.

Stopped to see my Mexican friend as his work car was at his farm home. Despite my poor attempt at communication found he was on the back of his property. Drove through the fields and admired his growing herd of cattle ,eyed the hogs content in their not knowing the future, drove to the area he was cutting corn and interrupted for a brief visit. Too brief to broach the topic of Mexico and his grandfathers tale of hurriedly hiding a belt of pesos plata in the scrub behind his home and never recovering it after searching repeatedly.
Would like to hear it again though, and to ask why it was hidden and to not ask where. If my friend still owns a home there maybe it is related? Some things may be best not knowing all the details unless directly involved, sigh.
