DO TREASURES HAVE REAL SPIRITS

Hey, Trapper Girl We know you're probably the bravest, and toughest trooper out of all of us. Have a good day, hope it goes well... :cross:
. It will go just fine. So, what do ya'll think of Don Jose's Yaquii Twins? I bet they might have a story or two that could TOP any of ours. Let's invite them to the campfire tonight. I will go in their traditional deer-dress with just a few bone embellishments. Don Jose?!? I am smiling. You know I want you to share a good one about the infamous 'chicken ranch' straight out of Navajoa. So many times, a few girlfriends and I wanted to dress like vaqueros and see what was going on in there. Either the colonel (Sanders) was trying to get his chickens back, or....??? So many mysteries.

Trapper Girl, I'll reply to your post before going to the next page.
I didn't mean that I thought I looked like the rooster; but meant I feel at times how the rooster looks. lol
No, I've never had any of these tests. In my lifetime, I've only had the heart monitor for 72 hours, a few X-rays, about 5 or 6 EKGs, a lung function test 2 or 3 times, and a sonogram on my heart the other day. I've been extremely blessed; except for the COPD, which is entirely my own fault, I'm in fairly good health. I have some high-blood pressure problems, acid reflux (quite bad at times), high cholesterol, and a heart PVC. None of these seem to be much of a problem. My hbp, reflux, cholesterol, etc. is pretty much under control. Just the COPD is my main concern.
And, yes, I also question the different tests that are suggested to me by the doctors and refuse any that I think are just a way to get more money. I'm sure that most time, the doctors are suggesting these in good faith and feel that they may catch something that is wrong before it becomes a greater problem. But, I am at an age that I am not worried about a problem that may in 10 or 15 years cause my death! lol

I think definitely invite the twins, they may enjoy
the fire also. And maybe Don Jose will tell of more
about those treasured mysteries, than to just lead
us on, with clever bits and pieces of his sly jesting,
I mean from the preface of his ancient clues book... :laughing7:... :cross:

Course when I was weekly commuting from Tuscon it would be about 02:00 am sat morning and all of the restaurants were closed so the only place that I could get a cuppa cofe was a few miles out of Nav, on the Alamos road purely platonic I assure you, the quality of the goods was rather ---------- Then Sunday afternoon it was off to Tucson again.

Howdy Friends,

We have some fresh, camp filtered, creek water sock coffees...
Anybody? :coffee2::coffee2::coffee2::coffee2::coffee2:...:cross:

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah and ha! I wish I could fly in and be a little mosca. So interesting! We'll leave it at that.

Are y'all upcreek from the cows...?

Don't see no cows, maybe deer and beaver, an occasional
water snake, a few bass and catfish. But that's what the
filter's for, to screen out the squiggly things, should be
all right, that's what the Grand folks always used, and
the water gets hard boiled, right before the clean sock... :laughing7:

SHHH! You are letting the secret out! We won't get that reaction if people know how it is made, let their imagination brew up a nasty thought. :laughing7: More coffee for us!

So come on in y'all, the crick's (runnin' water) fine.
The gourmet java is about ready, and so is a nice treat... :laughing7:

We do have some fun cool thingies, kinda' poppin' out...
on the way, along the dim shaded mountain road, into camp. :laughing7:

Then... He He He, cause even Treasure Hunters seem to like
their Spirits to be scared, if'n they think it's not for real. He He He

So, we'll give 'em what they like, a few sudden surprises,
a fast little trick, around switchbacks and the swinging bridge... :laughing9: :icon_jokercolor:

'Sides, gotta' do sumthin' to get this campfire party goin'...

Put some S/W seasoned Buffalo tenders in the skillet,
double baked taters an' corn on the cob, in foil by the coals.

There's all kinds of great salads and tasty sides.
Got some 17 grain and pumpkin bread, baking in the
Dutch oven, with fresh butter and honey. Then for dessert,
there's pumpkin rolls, and homemade vanilla ice cream. So I
hope y'all are hungry, from all that treasure hunting, and the
nice ride into camp... :laughing9::laughing7::laughing9::laughing7:

Maybe someone will tell a little Treasure Spirits story directly... :cross:

I have to ask - what are the 17 grains? I know of wheat, buckwheat, rye, barley, rice, emmer, einkorn, oats, corn even triticale but what other grains are used? Never heard of this many grains for a bread.

You would think that with over 33,000 hits, some folks could post some haunted treasure tales! Come on amigos it is October, Halloween is coming up - share!
Oroblanco

Hi Ed, they have no legal claim to it,since they, for centuries have denied working any mines in North 'America so they couldn't explain - a bit too much for tithing - where they got it.. besides that area will soon be a park and it will make no difference.
