No, I haven't been able to get back. Thought I might make it this summer. It's 500+ from the house. I haven't found an excuse to head back that way. This is just a couple of miles up the road from the triangle markers I posted. I would love to get back and get the high resolution image.

LOL nope ,I've got a wonderful wife .
When things are covered My time is mine.
Just have some issues sometimes getting everything covered.
This week it's a water heater. LOL 800.00
Sell a colt, make some bucks.
Just the way we have to do things ...either that or get used to cold showers.

doesn't look like anyone is brave enough to touch that cold showers reference even though they know it is about the water heater. lol Okay...done with what I can do tonight....lots of info....will see what I can do with it in the morning. Tis very late and I need to open the office in about 6 hrs....actually Brian said he would open it....if I can manage it, I might sleep in for a lil bit. Not likely....as you might have seen on facebook...got some crazies running around shooting at my former coworkers out on the reservation. www.kwso.com and www.ktvz.com have the latest updates and not much for a bit now.

Managed to get the water heater done last night.
Getting the old one out and making sure the gas lines were sound was the big thing.
The new tank heats water like ganbusters. WOW

The signs chiseled here are all on the face of the stone.
The holes on top are all natural ... just holes.

We would be interested in seeing some signs from where you are.
Do you have Spanish incursion there?

In this picture I was just noticing the absence of lichen on some of the exposed rocks. From my recent geological experience lichens can be used for the dating of materials. In this case, the colonization of lichen on the displaced (squared off boulder front and left center) seem to indicate something, but what?

Have you explored the area around the square cut?

I thought that I would just put the pics here for you. There are 4 small drill holes at the edges (cirlced) and on bigger one in the middle.
Of course the second pic tells a story all it's own.

Found this seven this weekend. It is on a horizontal ledge of the bolder. Must be ancient for them to put this much time into making it.

Forget about signs and markers at your site.

It looks very much like there is a shaft right in your picture. Sometimes we read too much into something, when the object of desire is right in front of us.

Look at the area I put the red square around. Notice how the varnish or dark rock disappears behind that big light colored rock. If you can get a truck to the spot, yank that light colored rock out of the face. It looks like it is blocking the entrance of a shaft. If you can't get a truck up there, then try very heavy hand winches, or drag a generator and electric jackhammer to the site, and break up that rock and take it out piece by piece.

Also, notice how there is long grass all around the spot except for the area leading up to the light rock. Looks like that was a well used area in the past.

Hey okey..that is one fancy 7 there..not a plain one..but embellished. Seem to recall something about that in a book..perhaps KW.... I think he said that kind of 7 is not a camp ground 7 but rather a 7 that refers to metals of interest!
