Basic signs and symbols you have found

Not sure, thats part of my question, what or how is it determined to be and Alpha, what is an Omega and how do they relate to each other?
Laid out in a triangle? diamond?

Have you read A Guide to Vault Treasure Hunting by Sandy1 I don't know how it could be explained any better than in his thread.

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for the following petroglyph sign. I call it the UP or CUP sign. I have found it in three sites. One in Colorado, one in New Mexico and one in Utah. If you have seen one similar to the following please show it here.

Thanks

Need more info, are they close to water? What size? Always give us as much info as you can, and something for size reference.

There's a lot more going on here than just the lion. You got the fiery or angel on the left, U notched alignment rocks, wat looks to be a giant devil face with horns and all. One of his horns is also a hawk or eagle. Look for large boulders that will align up with the U shape rocks. Or just use those segourras, and measure the distance between them. If they're equal in distance or in the shape of a triangle, find the center of the tri and start your dig. Note: it could be at one of the 3 points or on the outside of tri or in between the 3 points somewhere. Only way to know for sure (other than compass points and huge math formulas being applied) is to look for a triangle marker/symbol close by with a dot on or around it. Itll be where the dots located on tri. Think of those segourras as the tri symbol.

I am only on page 8 for the 1st time of this awesome thread.
Thank you all for this wealth of information.
From where I'm at so far I see mostly examples in the western states, which a sign is a sign nomatter where it may be.
Which brings about my question. When I was growing up in Southern missouri one of my old trails used to have a tree that had a turtle carved over a smiley face or crescent.
What were these symbols trying to tell me?
Thank y'all

I was looking for some help deciphering a stone with some letters/numbers/symbols carved into it. It was found at one end of an elongated oval of rocks oriented north/south, approximately 8 or so feet long and maybe a foot or two wide. At the center of the oval of rocks, buried beneath the surface was a fist size chunk of bright white quartz with what appears to be a large pulley wheel with the spokes broken out placed around the quartz. The rock with the carvings is on the north end of the oval of rocks and is the only stone that forms the north end.
