🥇 BANNER XP Deus - Short Solo Hunt on New Land - GOLD HAMMERED!

XP Deus - Short Solo Hunt on New Land - GOLD HAMMERED!
XP DEUS ROCKS:headbang: (Second gold coin in 9 months)

Firstly a little background on this new land. It's owned by the most anti-detectorist in our area, nice guy when you know him but he spent many a night running off Night Hawks from his land. It's only last year that we met up whilst he was rabbiting that he gave us permission. He did so because our reputation follows us & he had heard of our sharing the finds & money. So he's going to be very pleased when we show him this & put some cash his way.

On researching this field it came up a blank. However, this didn't put me...

🥇 BANNER Found...The Holy Grail!...on the second try

Found...The Holy Grail!...on the second try
Jmastny78 and I headed back out to the old honey hole. The tear-out is progressing towards downtown. We spent a while exploring new territory with little luck. "If you can't find them where you are...go back to where you found them before...you're bound to have missed something." So I told Jer I was headed back to the church. I had gridded this patch of ground twice in the last two nights. We had found some older coins over the last two nights but I noticed we weren't finding any of the oddball coins (trimes, flying eagles, half-dimes, or any of those coins that seemed to circulate...

🥇 BANNER Colonial Silver Pomander

Colonial Silver Pomander
Walked onto the site turned on the F22 and started swinging. This was in my first hole. I don't know what it is yet but I'm pretty sure it's old, silver and hand engraved. I'm sure someone can tell me what it is pretty quick. I can't complain about my silver coin drought with finds like this one though

EDIT: This has been identified. It's called a Pomander and here is a link to more info and a similar piece

🥇 BANNER The Find of a Lifetime: Found! Ladies Diamond Rolex Watch

The Find of a Lifetime: Found! Ladies Diamond Rolex Watch
Hi all! Went to one of my hunting spots for a little enjoyment of our favorite hobby. A misty fog was hanging over the river like a blanket in the early morn. This was usual because of the coldness of the water and believe me you knew it recovering your first target. I was getting the norm, small pieces of foil, the wings of pull tabs, balls of aluminum and can tops. I was using my Tesoro Bandido U Max II with discrimination set at 2. Of course every sound is sought after until found. There are outcroppings of rocks in the river that act as catch areas for "goodies". As I was making my way...

🥇 BANNER BIG GOLD FROM THE FORT SITE and Reales

BIG GOLD FROM THE FORT SITE and Reales
Howdy T-netters! Great day at the fort site today. No, awesome day at the fort site today! I did make videos with my phone while on site, but Bergie and I decided that a couple of the finds were so significant that the videos could give off grid coordinates and compromise our site. After all, Bergie got SPECIAL permission and people may come in by boat and steal our thunder or try to get our hunting put to a cease fire because of the GOLD.

So, the day got started on a bad note as my pin pointer fell out of my pouch. After a 50 yard backtrack I recovered it. Thank you Jesus! Here is the...

🥇 BANNER Gold Nail found

Gold Nail found
Heya everyone!

So I found a gold nail today.
Yup!
It was bound to happen, thousands of regular iron nails and I finally find a gold nail. LOL
I never expected this!

My scale says it weighs .3 grams.

I posted the picture on a Facebook chat that I was in and was given some great information about its possible origins.

I was told that it could have come from an ornate Chinese Box used to keep important items in.
This nail was found a couple hundred yards upstream where I found my Chinese coin.

Tell me what you guys think. :)

🥇 BANNER FIND OF A LIFETIME- South Carolina CONTINENTAL Dragoons

FIND OF A LIFETIME- South Carolina CONTINENTAL Dragoons
Hey guys,

While this hobby certainly has its highs and lows, perseverance always seems to pay off. A little over a year ago I got my first Safari and like most my initial finds began modest (lots of iron nails and aluminum pull tabs). Then after months swinging the machine something amazing happened- I found my first British pewter buttons from the Revolutionary War. Matching 3rd and 19th Regiment of Foot pewter buttons. My research proved that the British had landed at the site and with Gheenoe's recent discovery of a 23rd Regiment of Foot button, we can confirm occupation by the...
