🥇 BANNER CLOVIS! My Oldest Find EVER!

CLOVIS! My Oldest Find EVER!
Two days later and I'm still just as giddy as when I found this.

Monday after work I decided to take a little drive down to Massachusetts to a colonial farm site along the Connecticut River where I have had some luck with my detector. After swinging the coil for a while in a lower field and only turing up a few flat buttons, I decided to try my luck in the upper field which had recently been turned over. The soil was really dry and the dust was awful. Disgruntled, I figured I would do one more pass hoping to dig at least one good keeper for the day...

🥇 BANNER Fugio Cent

Fugio Cent
I've been super busy this season so not much detecting. I was off work today since school for the kids start tomorrow I was taking them to the Liberty Science Center. I was getting gas last night and received a call from my local historical society with a lead on a 1700s home site. I could not get it out of my mind so before taking the kids out I stopped by the site and this was my only 1700s era find but I'll take it. Actually will go to the historical society for the town museum.

Enjoy

🥇 BANNER Massachusetts milicia officer sword buckle

Massachusetts milicia officer sword buckle
Massachusetts militia officer sword buckle plate

First time river hunting. Found one piece of a Massachusetts militia officer sword buckle plate right on the water edge. It's pre civil war. Very little information on the Internet about it so if you have any I'd love to know about it. Relicman has a complete one on his website. Need to go back and see if I can find the other piece.

Thanks for watching,

Patrick

🥇 BANNER CRAZY 73 OLD SILVER COIN SPILL

CRAZY 73 OLD SILVER COIN SPILL
I just got in the door and so excited to post this that i didn't even rinse and check the dates of the coin spill. Ive been wanting a US silver for along time and now i have some. I see standing liberties and barbers in the mix.i will post more pictures and dates later when I'm done cataloging all of them. They are mostly all quarters with some dimes and five cent pieces mixed in. I thought i wouldn't top my 26 silver Newfoundland coin find a awhile back but i did. They all were in a small area on a old driveway and the ground was packed hard. Took me two hours to dig them all out. At a...

🥇 BANNER EPIC HUNT: 1788 COLONIAL PARYS MINES DRUID PENNY TOKEN AND MUCH MORE!

EPIC HUNT: 1788 COLONIAL PARYS MINES DRUID PENNY TOKEN AND MUCH MORE!
I don't know where to start on this one. This is one of those hunts that dreams are made of. I had to wait a couple days to post it since we were on vacation and I had to clean, research, and photograph everything.

We vacationed in a part of Cape Cod that contained some history I was walking around drooling at some of the historic properties as I had no permissions. Passing a newer house that had a nice wooded lot next to it (and some old houses across the street) I happened upon an old woman who was outside in her driveway and I introduced myself. We got to talking and she was...

🥇 BANNER 1787 Gold on MV

1787 Gold on MV
My dad was at the tail end of a 4 day visit to the island and anyone that been here knows the game you have to play with the ferry !!! While on my phone every ten minutes,,, I figured I would do a little detecting on an old colonial cart path that passes thru a field. I was using my Tesoro and often don't dig targets in the 40-59 range . This was a very clean crisp target only 5 inches down. I really thought it was a shiny Lincoln penny until I picked it up. Hope folks enjoy the pics !!!

I've just added a couple more pics , gently cleaned, also showing the edge.

Hi again,, I just added...

🥇 BANNER CS buckle found in Goldsboro, NC this past weekend!!!

CS buckle found in Goldsboro, NC this past weekend!!!
Finally, after detecting around Goldsboro for 26 years, I struck it big with this CS buckle. All 3 hooks in the back are fully intact as you can see. What a thrill. I have emailed a couple different appraisers. I found it with the Fisher F-75 LTD and it was about 4" deep. The area was a known Union soldier encampment. Thanks
