🥇 BANNER Deus elliptical HF finds 400-300 BC gold earring.

Deus elliptical HF finds 400-300 BC gold earring.
Hi guys!
I hope everyone is doing great.
Lately I decided to add to my Deus the X35 13inch coil and the HF elliptical one. The idea was to find more deep targets and also the tiny silver coins.
Yesterday, I had the flight at 15.20. At 4.30 I was already fully awake. First I thought it was silly but then I jumped on the car and headed to a new site where I have been only twice.
On my way up I decided to use the X35. Reactivity 0, disc - 6.4, 11khz, slow motion and I could find some deeper targets. Amongst them three silver coins too.
When I was on the top of the hill it was already 10...

🥇 BANNER Got my fix, capped bust, seated spill

Got my fix, capped bust, seated spill
After almost a month break I hit the woods today. Went to a previously hunted spot with a friend. I put one or two Indians in my pouch, not expecting much since I’ve been to this location with few other good diggers. But after an hour of pulling nails a good signal: first came out a seated 1851 dime

Then a little down the slope, another silver... a merc.
10 feet away another... a 1906 Barber dime.

Things got quiet again and on our way out we decided to do one more circle around the hot spot. Glad we did, I got a faint signal and out came a small white...

🥇 BANNER Marked belt plate from 1812 and my best Connecticut copper.

Marked belt plate from 1812 and my best Connecticut copper.
Had an awesome hunt on Saturday.

After a long wait ,got one of my major bucket listers : An engraved belt plate from the War of 1812
It's crazy how many times I imagined myself finding one and it finally happened on Saturday! :headbang: Although I know it's going to be hard to ID this one, I couldn't be happier with its condition.

The letters seem to indicate L.S.V. and I suspect it belonged to a militia soldier. ( Loyal S.... Volunteers?)

An other great find an hour or so latter, was...

🥇 BANNER A funny and Fantastic start to Fall!

A funny and Fantastic start to Fall!
Still a couple of more weeks before Ironhorse is ready to dig, but I got out for 4 hours today, and did not at all expect results like this!

So this is my kick-off for Fall, and my last year digging has been very good, so I decided to give myself a bit of a goal this year... like a challenge. The challenge was to find something good enough to have published in Western & Eastern Treasures magazine, something I have never done, but obviously being a member of the T-net have seen several others do it. And going hand-in-hand with that, I would have to assume my find, whatever it would...

🥇 BANNER My first gold coin! And it is Medieval hammered!

My first gold coin! And it is Medieval hammered!
Hey guys,
I just got back from England and wanted to share a couple of finds. I was in a field not getting much and got a decent signal. Now up to this point I had dug a ton of old coins and buttons galore, but no outstanding finds that I was hoping these old fields would give up. I dig the hole and see a gold circle staring back at me. I am thinking this must be the foil top to a liquor bottle and pick it up. Nope. Knew right away that it was gold and it was old. I later found out that it was minted in 1412-13, the only years they minted them and that it was a Henry IV Quarter Nobel...

🥇 BANNER Bit by a RATTLESNAKE! Bucket list recovery

Bit by a RATTLESNAKE! Bucket list recovery
Hey guys,

Just got back from a few weeks overseas on a mission, just itching to get back at my new site in SC. Recoveries so far have been killer with an assortment of early silver, 18th century toy cannon, and a 1740s 2 escudo counterfeit. Definitely get the feeling these guys have money, but I knew there had to be something special left in that dirt. Landed the jet, hugged the wife and son, and snuck away for a few hours of dirt therapy :laughing7:. Few flat buttons and assorted lead had me a bit discouraged until the XP let out a broken chip among the iron. Flipped the plug...

🥇 BANNER A Southern Cross of Honor !!!!!!

A Southern Cross of Honor !!!!!!
hello all i went. To mu Great grandmother's house it was built in 1910. When I got there the i started to find some wheats (not pictured) and a silver plated spoon (also not pictured) then i got this weird signal i thought it was going to be a pull tab when i dug it. A first i thought it was a watch fob when i wiped some the dirt off.I saw the Confederate flag and the word Confederacy my started to pound when i got back i cleaned it off some more on the back it said: The Southern Cross of Honor. DEO VINDICE. Which meant: With God As Our Vindicator. 1861-1865. It was given to the veterans...
