Hi,
I'm new to site and detecting in general. I live in Maryland. Interested in cache hunting and wanted to know if anyone has used the geohunter 3d and what they think of it. Thanks, Jim

Hi from Tennessee. I have been detecting for about a year and I have fun doing it. I got to hunt two weeks ago at Myrtle Beach SC then at Tybee Island my first beach detecting only found clad but it was fun. I am still learning and still in search of that first silver or gold ring. Happy Hunting !

Hello from Missouri. New to posting but have been searching the site for a week or so...started CRHing with the kids. Used to metal detect years ago, hence my dector --maybe will again when the kids get older. Looking forward to being part of the community.

Hello,
I am a prospector from central Virginia (Charlottesville). I am running a Bazooka sniper and an AM Recon. I am looking forward to learning from you guys. I enjoy the DIY side of this hobby. I made my own sucker tube, and just had an idea for a DIY classifier that is unlike anything I have seen yet. (No more bucket limitations.) It should cut the classifying time in half and is super cheap. I am looking forward to getting to know you guys.

Hello Everyone. Newbie here from Gaithersburg, MD. Bought a MD to find my sons wedding band and now I am hooked. Found it by the way. Really looking forward to finding places in the area to do some hunting. Also a Geocacher from time to time under same name.
Cheers,
Steve

Yes we found the band with Bounty Hunter Lone Star. I know its a basic detector but i am ok with that.

Welcome to the forum. You live in a beautiful state with some history. GL!

First time to this site. I have been hunting with the "Diggin' in Virginia" boys for a number of years but time is always a problem getting away from school. I would like to stay closer to home and continue to hunt Civil War relics in the Gettysburg area to use in my classroom when teaching. Detecting is a great hobby and I thank my father for getting me started some 10 years ago. Good luck in the hunt, I hope to hear back from you.

HELLO,IM A NEWBIE FROM COLORADO SPRINGS. CANT WAIT TO START DISCUSSING A FEW THINGS I HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT.

Greetings from Minnesota. Been digging for three years and metal detecting is my favorite hobby.

Hello new to site have been searching for lost goodie for about a year and a half now. This site looks very informative and I just love all things that are old. All Items tell a history of a property and as detectorist we all should record it for the future.

Hello from Mississippi! I retired a few months ago and am going to get back to occasional hunting .. we have old trading posts, railroad depots, old homesteads, etc in the area. Looking forward to the hunt.

Hello to everyone !!! My name is Rebel Hunter. I belong to the Sons of Confederate Veterans, not because I'm a Rebel or Confederate but to honor MY Great Grandfather who fought for the Southern Cause... He was also an American! I enjoy metal detecting. It gives me the opportunity to be out in nature and to find the relics that are buried all over this country. I enjoy conversation with others who participate in the art of detecting. Looking forward to a visit with you all. Rebel Hunter

Old digger starting over after 30 year hiatus. Have an ole garret at3 beach hunter that still works. Now a new garrett at pro to get used to. Live in king of prussia pa area. A shame most parks in my area don't allow detecting. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Regards to all.

Welcome to the site and back to the hobby. You're in a good area. Once you learn the ATP, try and get some permissions and see if you can find some of those silvers you missed back in the 80's, lol.

Hello all, I am from Northern California and have been scouting up on the Trinity and American rivers, I practice Iron Staff Kung Fu (that's staff and spear work with a 60" San Angelo bar) and figure I ought to turn this crazy bent of mine to gold prospecting, cleaning up and rearranging some country bedrock! I got bit by the gold bug this last summer, didn't have as much chance to spend out in the hills as I'd have liked but oh boy...can't wait to get out! My hubby's been sniping since he was a boy and has shown me some neat tricks. Nice to meet you all! Love the pics and videos and prospecting tips, hope to share some of my own soon!
