Hello there I'm from Mexico and love hunting and digging I usually don't use forums but I just couldn't let go this one, friendly people and some really wise.

Hello from Morrow, county Oregon

I have a cheapo detector I've used for a few years now, I have more fun watching my granddaughter find the change I plant when I do get the chance to go out. Ive been more into gold prospecting, and rock hounding. If it looks cool I pick it up.

Hello fellow treasure hunters, I am new to the site as well and I have a few things I found metal detecting that I would like to share and receive info on, if possible. However I need to learn about this site first like where to go and post pictures. I love History and so sad that I was born and raised in California when I believe the true history is found in the New England area. I do own some property In Bayville NJ and Spent some time checking out the property with my M D. I found a indian head penny and other things like square nails, large spike, old wolf trap... Anyhow I happy to be here and looking forward to future interactions... thx

Hi all I live in NE Ohio and swing Minelabs mostly. presently using a ctx 3030 I also have other detectors i use for relic hunting. Anyone close to me . I am near Canton Oh

Hello Friends,
Glad to find this site. I'm an archaeologist and digger from Ky.
I started metal detecting as a kid in the 80s with a surplus mine detector on our tobacco farm near perryville.
I just moved to Va and would meet some folks to hunt with.
Drop me a line!

Hi,
I live in northern California.
I'm new to metal detecting, and wonder if the Mendocino Lost and Found Metal Detector Club still meets at the Roundtable Pizza place in Ukiah. I've had my detector for almost a year (Christmas present!) and just don't know where to go or what to do. I tried Lake Mendocino and my own back yard in Upper Lake and I'm just about addicted to the beep! I would sure like to dig up something other than fishing lures and pop tops. Although, I did get some use out of one of the lures! I'd love to meet some folks to go out with or just learn from. - Cindi

Hello, I am Alura, another newbie. found site by accident when trying to find info about a watch I have.. Saw one just like it on here when I typed in Belgium Watches. Lead me here and lo and behold there was a watch similar to mine. I think it belonged to my great Grand-daddy or maybe just grand -daddy then passed down. Trying to find out what the date means as I have never seen any dates inscribed this way.
When I learn how to I will post a picture. I have a few more items so this site looks like the place to be.

Hi! I'm Sharon from MA
I am so brand new to this...I haven't purchased a metal detector yet...I have done some research but now am ready to go out and get one. We are tight on $, so looking for one that is inexpensive but a good starter model for women. We have a White's store nearby and loved what I saw, but before I make a purchase, would love some info. We rent, not own. Live pretty close to the ocean..
I am in my mid 50s but plan to go with my husband.
AM SO excited about this...just would love to get some advice...thank you all in advance!!!
