Is that prickly looking thing called a Barrel Cactus?
Yes it is. Those 4 inch long needles look dangerous, but this is the one to stay well away from!
Cholla, or "jumping cactus" has extremely sharp needles with barbs like a porcupine, they go in easy but don't come out.

So im watching the news from Canada and saw some people at a meeting first greet each other in French then speak English. The show reporter or whatever indicated it was common to do so. Do you speak French?
FARK NO!
I'm a westerner, and this was how we referred to everyone one else east of us.
East of the Rockies there was the Farking Prarie 🐔,
Then the Farking Ontarians, then came the Farking 🐸, the Newfies were ok because they're solid folks.
Then I became a Farking Ontarian 40 yrs ago.
So we had to start rephrase again.
Took French in grade 8 & 9
French teacher called me over to his office.
Jim I'll give you a passing grade ( I was failing miserably) if you promise me that you will not take grade 10 French.
The art of a deal. 🤣

The fancy name, 😍 👌.
In the late 70's
Those in garlic butter, were a hit.
Next question 🤔

Have you eaten those big grubs there?
"Bardi"
Yes delicious. Not raw though, cooked in foil in campfire coals. Don't think I could stomach trying to chew something that's moving around in my mouth.
🤢

My real estate agent......I'm selling my Dads place..... Sold Tommy Shaw here in Brookings, I'm hoping to meet him!! Already met Ted Nugent years ago, he got permission to bow hunt local mills property....150,000 acres. I know the mill owners kids.

His album Atlantic Crossing with Sailing on it was amongst the first few albums I got as a teen. I only liked Sailing on that album though. It was like a giant single song wise. Sailng A side and the entire rest of it B side.
Chicks digged him though.
