Good morning ARC & rook!
We had thunderstorms roll through here around mid-night, pushed out all of that awful heat from yesterday.

Much nicer today temps wise... heading into Toronto to visit my 86 year old Mom this morning.
She's asked me to bring her a BLT from Tim Horton's and a decaf coffee, I wish she was always this easy to cook for. :laughing7:

Morning Dave, AARC. ROOK,
No FL. Weather this morning.
Lesson to self, hot tractor, thermal Jean's, on a hot and humid day. You probably cooked a few grey cells, certainly didn't use the stuff.

Have a good trip into the city Dave for the visit. :icon_thumright:

You must have a/c in your place don't you Jim or at least a de-humidifier?

How is Max handling the heat... I guess you're pretty lucky that he doesn't take to running down to jump in the water when he gets over heated. :laughing7:

Thanks buddy, this will be the first time I've seen my Mom since February.
She tells me that she has a list of chores for me to take care of after lunch... gotta remember to bring my tools. :laughing7:

We have all of the above-just not running.
Everything is good this morning.

Max "Might" go into the water up to his ankles.:laughing7:

I will say one thing to my friends here on RCT.....it will be a very special circumstance that I would ever show any spanish gold on this site....it just draws to much attention from the wrong types of crazed gold fever having pirates. Hard enough to keep some of my sites secret down here. I know of a few who even lurk over here keeping tabs on me....they show there face once and awhile here. A couple read every post I write. I've even had likes from them out of the blue...just to let me know that they know too now. That's fine I understand that !! I wouldn't post anything by accident I'm giving that info for those folks !!

That's downright creepy and wrong. It's like "get your own damn site, research it yourself, go do the work to find your own gold. Quit being a bottom feeder off of a guy who actually does the work!"

Quite a bit unrelated, but sorta close. Before I bought the helmet that is coming in the mail today, I posted another one I was interested in on a WWII collectors site to ask questions about it. There were no bids, no watches, no one knew about it. The next day, people who saw my post went in and bid on it to the point that I couldn't afford it anymore. It sucks when you have to think about everything you post, and wonder if it will come to bite you on the butt later on.

Good morning ANTIQUARIAN (like the new avatar), pepperj, Bill, RR
Have a good trip Dave

Visibility was terrible, so shots are not of National Geographic quality!

First two pics are of stern from different angles. Remainder are random shots of various parts of vessel. There's an aluminum boat on top of her (second pic). See shot of its bow.

She's pretty near bang on 100 feet long by 20 feet. She lays on a north-south axis; stern to the north.

My feeling is she was scuttled intentionally as I only saw one fitting left on her (last pic). My guess is the remainder were removed and reused.

Thanks for letting us use your lake
I have my own wreck right in front of my home, (everyone needs to have one). She lies in 12ft of water.
