Beautiful morning....wife and kid slept down in islamorada at the family compound. Woke up this morning and it was just me and the cats. Been watching the morning fishing shows. Total peace and quiet !! My favorite show is "into the blue" steve Roger's is a great guy and I got to meet his whole family in key west a few years back. There all top notch watermen....and they helped us out with many tips on bait, locations, and conditions. Our crew and those guys bonded and we hung out every afternoon and had beers, cleaned fish, and BBQed !!

if you guys are wondering what my job is like this is a show filmed in the keys and is about as close to what I do most days on the water. That's my buddy steve Rodgers from key west.

Good morning Simon, ARC, Rook, Bill, RR, ANTIQUARIAN, Bart, WD, WHADIFIND, and our effervescent crew!

Good morning William & Penelope. Blew you right out’a bed did she now!

Sometime WD MY Garrett Carrott will go crazy and stay on around the target area. That could indicate a low 9 volt battery also. But I’ve found very small buttons also when you couldn’t see them. The killer to this is when you are in an area where people squirrel hunt and the pointer is sounding out on a very small lead shot.

When mine gets low batteries, it makes the awfulest screeching beep. Still works, but I cannot stand the noise.

Yesterday I thought I found a little lead ball. I was pleasantly surprised when I was cleaning it that it is an eyelet guide thing from a shoe/boot. It’s much smaller than the ones on my steel toe boots. So I am thinking kids or ladies dress boots. That’s kinda neat.

Got some more neat Louisville Fire Bricks, and founda house that burned down several years ago. A metal artist lived there, and we found several lazer cut metal pieces that the owner said we could have. I even found a tank and a soldier! I'll have to clean those up.

Nice RR, you came home with treasure!

WD keep watch for lime from the tick.

Nighty night... don't let the shipworms bite.

See ya AARC!!!!!! N the morning

WD,

Go for it girl....the herbs are great to repel the bad insects and when they flower attract bees and butterflies. Heck you can even use them for cooking and making teas.

You'll be a little Suzy homemaker in no time....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:
