rook,

Here's a recipe for you. I used to follow her before she passed away quite the lady.

Well, what do ya know? I have been making a version of that ever since I started cooking. Hah! I use smoked sausage instead of hot dogs. Another one of my all time favorite poor man meals is potato, bread and eggs with hot dogs in it. Love, love, love it! Mr WD doesn't. I remember when my mom taught me how to cook it. She said it was because that was all they could afford: potatoes, bread, and eggs. If they had balogna or hotdogs, they would add it. I prefer the hotdogs. I would eat that every other day, if I could. I only fix it 1-3 times a year though.

Neighborhood must have heard a rumor that burning oak leaves ward off virus....
2 days of haze. Cough .
It does offset the methane from the landfill if the wind is from the East or S.E. though..Cough.
Hard to taste my cigarette this morning. Cough.

Dogs woke me early.
Now they're flopped all over the living room.
Toys , beds, bones, scattered about.
All but one dog crashed/resting again already.
I should poke em with a stick and wake them up as payback. But won't.

Good for you. It's not a small matter.
Pretty soon you'll be wearing a visor and squinting under a bankers lamp while scribbling out checks furiously....:laughing7:

I consider a check an honor note.
Unfortunately , not everyone else does.

WOOO HOOO !! I just found the 100$ bounty hunter !! I forgot I had it...at least I have 1 machine here in the states now. I'm taking this beater straight to some spanish spots. The challenge will be to find a piece of 8 with a 100$ machine?? This changes this whole quarantine thing....tides dropping I'm outa here !!

If it weren't for the fact that I can't travel, I'd tag along. Anything is better than this Kentucky weather.

Go home weather, you're drunk.

I always liked checks better. More personal.

This time it was a large Read/Parrott shell frag, recovered from Excelsior field, Gettysburg. Up next, I stumbled upon a solid relic condition German Wehrmacht helmet from Novograd from the late summer offensive in Russia, and after showing several experts on the subject, they all agree it's good. I'm currently looking at it...

Sunday I go to find the lost ring. I'm taking my detector out today, burying some rings, and keeping others on the surface, and seeing what they sound like. Then, we got work to do, like fixing another bridge...

I shut down my ebay auctions except for one item that I can ship from the house. I made well over $300 before I did so. :occasion14:

Good luck Bart bring home the treasure.....reminds me of a long time detectorists who took out his grand daughter detecting a tot lot. He had a high end machine will all the bells and whistles he gave his grand daughter an entry level Bounty Hunter beep and dig machine.

She went behind him and scooped up a $5,000 diamond ring he missed.....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Well at least the laid off in Canada will get to eat. Late last night they approved a bailout package to compensate for lost salary, etc....

Did you watch the video, rook? Did you? He scared the livin' daylights out of me!! He deserves everything he gets!

WD,
Sometimes guys do stupid stuff, all in good fun (for the guy). When I was first married, the misses and I used to clean some model homes. A group of about 5 or 6 houses, built by the developer, of various floor plans and exterior elevations.
Folks interested in buying a home, would go through availability, prices, time frame, lot placements and sizes, with a real estate salesman.
Once a week, we would clean those model homes. Dust, vacuum, wipe down, garbage, toilets. Anyway, I started by going around and unlocking the houses, and the back over to the sales office, to start vacuuming. The misses started the rest, ahead of my vacuuming. This particular time, I decided to play a trick, after unlocking the houses, I started to vacuum, like usual, but when she headed out to the next house, I quietly went out front and waited for her to be inside of the second house, then I quickly went over to the third house, and went into the hall bath, and stood in the tub, with the shower curtain bunched up so that I was not noticeable and waited, and waited. Finally she got to this house and was working her way through, eventually on into the hall bath. When she bent down to clean the toilet, she wa only about 16" from me. I didn't make any noise except for the sound of the shower curtain quickly sliding across, and I just stood there looking right into her eyes. They were very big. Silence for a second, and she screamed, a lot. I didn't do that again. I was in my 20's, thought it would be funny. . . Oooooops
