How's it going in your neck of the islands keyshunter ? Besides the chicken shortage...key largo publix is still pretty bare.

I am doing good Bart, thanks for asking :notworthy:
Hope you and your family get to feeling better real soon. I have no doubts you will.
Nice find and with a Bounty Hunter :icon_thumleft:

I agree with the fact that so many of us probably had the virus in some shape or form, but was not aware.

Simon I finally tried to read the back mark on that little bahamian button....sadly the back just crumbled to dust !! Oh well.

Ahhh, the memories Bill. Back in the day we use to paint names on our cars, On the rear end of mine it read " Hello - Goodbye " ( for when I passed them ) :laughing7:

I know one thing keyshunter....traffic was very light for me today....things are going into slow motion now.

That is disappointing to hear Bart. I have searched extremely hard to find a picture so I could identify it for you :sadsmiley: So far, I found an 1800's cufflink that "vaguely" matched the button. Still, it was not 100 % but it was another possibility. The cufflinks were roughly the same size and the backing was even similar. Oh well, I will still continue searching, and thanks for the update.

Folks,

Play it safe when out and about. The U.S. & Spain have now both surpassed Italy in new cases per day the spread rate is probably as bad as the Spanish flu.

If you look at the time frame of the first reported cases in the U.S. which I believe is March 4th 3 weeks later and 65,000+ cases. And with limited testing who knows how many other infected people are roamnig around and passing it along.

Our "Normal" routine is pretty much what everyone is told to do so it hasn't sunk in yet to me what is going on. The wife, on the other hand, does NOT like to be told what to do. Living the way we have was fine for her UNTIL she heard the rules being laid out. Saying she can't do something triggered her nasty side. Unfortunately I am forced to deal with it and drinking beer sounds more promising :occasion14:

As more test kits become available, naturally, the number of cases will increase.

Simon,

Your wife being of Italian extraction is what they call Latin blooded in other words very mercurial temperament. My wife happens to be French Canadian which also have the same character traits......:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

When talking to one of my buddies George he asked me how things were going on the home front I told him we have our regular dust ups because of her hard headed temperament. He innocently asked me why I chose her instead of someone more docile.

My answer was I never enjoyed boring women for company.....so I've been cursed to put up with her as payback.....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:
