I just got back from Wal-Mart. It wasn't crowded.
Lots of stuff hoarders had gotten earlier we're back on the shelves...
So far in Ocala/Marion county the cases remain at 4, located mostly in THE VILLAGES retirement community, which also includes portions of Lake and Sumpter county as well as a part of south Marion county.
Shelves are restocked at our Walmarts, Publix, Wynn-Dixie, and even the Dollar General was restocked with toilet paper.

Folks given how the number of new cases are escalating pretty fast not a bad idea if you haven't already done so.

To pick up some extra non perishable food staples on your grocery runs. Rice, lentils, beans, garbanzo beans, pasta and some canned goods.

We've got a decent supply and should be good for 3 months or so without shopping if need be....me and the missus always seem to pick up more food supplies than we need day to day.

Heck I guess we were preppers even though we never really considered it that way....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

I know what you mean about the preppier part bill. We’re stocked purdy heavy now. Walmart had toilet paper today. People went crazy. I guess they are selling online. I’m not stock piling toilet paper. That’s crazy. Our other stores are getting back to normal now but myself and the bride are hunkered down for now.

Good evening illustrious pirate crew mates.

Idaho, they tend to not believe if info is too easily acquired....AKA- free. Could be it kills their "thrill of the hunt".

WD, yep! Mine keep trying to drag me out in public, come over when they're sick. They just don't get it!
As for protecting your self. Guide lines work: 6 ft from others, Do Not touch your face until you wash your hands. Spray or wipe down surfaces you touch. You will be ok, no need to stress and definitely limit the news it's their job to hype it up. Stick to facts only not their opinions.

And I have a theory, China suddenly has no new cases after 2 1/2 months. So could it be that covid19 has a shelf life of 2 1/2 months?
That would put the curve flattening in April, if there are no flare ups.

Do you know what the black stuff in-between an elephants toes is ? ? ?

Slow Pigmy village

And I have a small electronic problem...my ph.
He he he...yes I touched it. I was using it till 2pm no problem. Plugged it into charge, and laid it down. I picked it up a while ago and nothing! I can't get it to turn on, make sounds, nothing! I'm supposed to get an important call tomorrow and contact # is in ph. HELP! :help:

rook

Here's a song that fits for us that are more or less self isolating. Like you I don't get the stock piling of toilet paper. First and foremost long shelf life items like rice, pasta, beans, lentils, etc....if you ain't got food no need for toilet paper....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Not in THE VILLAGES, but north Ocala a few moles from Silver Springs.
It was on the nightly news that residents of the "HOT ZONES" of New York and New Jersey are fleeing and coming to Florida.
Gov deSantis has announced those arriving by plane will be escorted from the airport directly to a quarantine center for a 14 day stay, those by car will be required to fill out paperwork concerning the purpose of their visit and destination.

carloads are driving everywhere, out of state plates can still go any place they want if you own a second home elsewhere, read in the Keys 66% of homes are second homes.they pays taxes cant stop them from coming down???

keyshunter,

About the only advice I can suggest is practice social distancing and the hand washing thing. Also make sure you have a good supply of long lasting foodstuffs such as pasta, rice, beans, etc. Let the idiots hoard toilet paper we can always go back to using catalogs.....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Keyshunter, yes it's the original charger for the oh and yes it is plugged in. I double checked that.
And the phone battery was at 30% with the screen on when I laid is down. I haven't dropped it or got it wet. It's a Samsung galaxy A10e
I got it new in Dec 2019

Tried reading manual nada for not turning on. I tried their suggested web site but I can navigate web from I pad too well.
