I've got a few bream from last year. Could use a few more and some Alaska caught Salmon a buddy brought me last year. I guess I need to go on and smoke it.

Staying low key today....Just whipping up some spagetti for supper with a side salad and using our home made sauce from our garden tomatoes.

The highway is a couple miles away.
I can hear lots of traffic.
Must be semi trucks hauling toilet paper.

Seasonal road weight limits were lifted early. They may have lifted restrictions on number of hours driven by truck drivers in a day too. (?)

My wife just got back from picking up some supplies, coffee, cat food and some non perishables. The frozen fruit and veggies were pretty much cleaned out. Canned goods section large gaps in selection so people are in hoarding mode.

Crazy times I tell ya!

Normally I am always ready for hurricane season... I am at MAYBE only 75% due to doing other crapola.

I don't like "slowing down"... when you rest you rust.

I like that one, lot of truth to it.
The older you get, it feels more and more like a grind. Maybe because of the rust building up? Takes more energy to keep the machine running smooth than it used to.

So my mom and I are on our way to the chiropractors office, and we get pulled over by a state trooper. She got a ticket (I wasn't driving, I always do the speed limit) for doing 73 in a 55. She always drives fast. Always. So she goes on an hour long rant blaming everybody on earth for that ticket, and then I opened up my big mouth and said "You know, we've lived here for five years, and you haven't done the speed limit on any road around here once... it was only a matter of time you were going to get knabbed, today was the day".


I'm grounded now.
