Good morning all.

There was a stag party down by the creek last night. Unfortunately it was almost dark and I was a long way off, so the photos didn't work that well. Here's a few though. First one is three of the five or six that were down there. Second and third are one big boy that was off by himself a short distance away.

You have some nice healthy looking deer there. Congrats.
The one is getting the look of solid age goin on.
And it looks like antler velvet shedding week.

The lazy bachelor group of summer is about to shift gears and start extending thier activities. And attitudes.

Indeed. Though I really hope it never comes to that. But with the world the way it is these days, you just never know.

As I age and see the work grow if a deer gets brought home I comfort myself in knowing I might be able to if the world took a crap. No I'm not expecting it too. But do act like it's not impossible.

A deer cut into quarter inch pieces will compliment a lot of rice.
Last years example upon opportunity to give a deer a ride home was appreciating the opportunity. And dodging the work.
No . Not starving.

A friend liked venison jerky while hunting/watching deer.
Not sure about that for me...
Probably have done so before though.

Had a single caramel for lunch one Thanksgiving mid day. A lost stray from prior hunts probably.
Pretty sure I missed breakfast that day too.
Savored that caramel.
And ate more deer back then. Given the rarer opportunity.

The Mrs said there's 10 wild turkeys were in the yard this morning.
They talk to our domestic.
Wonder if it's like a day at the zoo for them.

Reason for this thought.
There was one single turkey, then there was 3, now 10 of them.
The domestic Tom was all protective.
So the news got out about these whites are in the prison/zoo compound.

Noticed a good bunch of you'z gathered up around the Bow Sprint.
Ya ok I got the shower treatment.
(No hot water on the wing)
I noticed that the crows nest was overly populated also.

Seriously after the 1 am night sweat I've been wanting one.
My nurse said the tape won't stick to you, because you're so wet!

They took me off the strongest/biggest antibiotic this afternoon.
So just one now for a few days yet.
Slowly Slowly 🐌 wins the race.

So the antibiotics are working? Did the medical staff see if you had a nasty splinter or something in there? deep vein thrombosis seems easy to rule out. MRSA?

Reminds me of a law that's still on the books, somewhere in the Midwest. It is illegal to interfere with a child that's playing in a mud puddle.

Now *THAT* is a law I can agree with whole heartedly!!

You need to fill out the form different.
Where it asks Sex, put Occasionally , or Yes please.


Real estate title office a gal asked my marital status. I asked if that was a solicitation.
She replied that she was married.
I declared that was only a piece of paper . And why then was she asking my status?

Being a bit of a smart ass myself, on a form I filled out once, where it asked "sex", I wrote down , "once, in Cincinnati". Got some strange looks.
