Good Morning this fine crisp morning, chores are done, now to head out with the big toy this morning :hello2:
The bigger the boys, the bigger the toys, but the wife is still the BOSS :icon_thumright:

Mornin all.
9:30 A.M. and mid teens F..

Took the plow truck out in the world of pavement and traffic for an oil change and some fuel.
Nothing fell off but a running board is getting loose up front.
Feels like I'm dragging a car behind it is so low geared feeling. Been awhile I guess.
Supposed to be decent snow tomorrow.
Off to pay land taxes in a little village today. Maybe the distant auction house after.

:laughing7: Gotcha..

Yeah its nice living in places like that. When we lived in Tarnagulla it was animals and birds everywhere. I do miss that lifestyle.
I miss the mountains and wildlife tremendously, not a day goes by I’m not homesick. My brother and I live in a very quaint apartment but we’re surrounded by multimillion dollar homes every direction and a lot of them have several acres. I guess that is where they come from.

Tiger trout are a hybrid between a female brown trout and a male brook trout. They are greenish yellow to brown with dark patches along their sides creating a maze-like pattern. Their belly is yellowish orange and the tail fin is square.
These sterile fish have been introduced to Diamond and Fish lakes to help combat several invasive bait fish species. Since they do not reproduce, tiger trout are catch-and-release only.
Tiger trout will go for flies, spoons, spinners and bait. Because tiger trout are piscivorous (they eat other fish), fishing a minnow imitation can be effective.

I completely understand what you are saying and even more thankful that we are able to do what we enjoy the most and that is the outdoor activities such as quading, hunting, fishing, setting up trail cams and mining our claims. Comments like yours and others make me realize how lucky we are to be able to do these all year round. Attached is a picture on myself, my son and Nugget gold panning.

Didn't do too bad at the lake today. 3 rings and a pendent.

Yeah I know the feeling. Im grateful for a roof over my head but I used to walk straight across the road and into the bush, see it right out the back window.
This completely surrounded by others is a bit alien to me.

whose growing them if they can't reproduce?

whose growing them if they can't reproduce?
The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) obtains tiger trout from private hatcheries, such as Cold Springs Trout Farm in Utah.
