Morning all.
Dogs care nothing of the hour.
So it's up and at em all hands in the rain.

Of course now that they've been out to relieve themselves and had breakfast they're crashed out all over the living room.
As if napping suits the rainy weather now that I'm coffeed up.

Tin roof rain type weather. (Usually drier under one. And the sound adds to the atmosphere.)

[Way back in my memory, there's a scene that I recall
Of a little run down cabin in the woods
Where my daddy never promised that our blue moon would turn gold
But he lay awake nights wishing that it would
When the world was on our radio, hard work was on our minds
We lived our day to day and plain dirt fashion
With ol' overalls and cotton balls all scrapped across your back
Man, It's hard to make believe ain't nothing wrong
But mama kept the Bible read
And daddy kept our family fed
And somewhere in between I must have grown
'Cause someday I was dreamin'
That a song that I was singing takes me down the road to where I wanna go
Now I know, it's a long hard road
Sometimes I remember when I stay up late at night
When the saddle (perhaps mornin) came, we got up and went
And the shadows of a workin' day
Our moonlight hour spent singing songs along with grandma's radio
Now I've beaten down an old blacktop road
And sleepin' in a sack
Living up my memories all in vain
'Cause those city lights ain't all that bright
Compared to what it's like
To see lightning bugs go dancing in the rain
Mama played the guitar then
And daddy made the saw blade bend
And raindrops played the tin roof like a drum
But I just kept on dreaming that a song that I was singing
Takes me down a road to where my name is known
Now I'm gone and it's a long, hard road
Yes, I know it's a long hard road]

Good morning everyone, hope everyone has a wonderful day. My Friday today and a closing shift instead of the darned AM shift for once so not waking up at 4:30AM for me today. Sleep how I've missed you lol. Oooooo Pepper has the golden shine on his profile now someone's special lol.

Yep. The lawyers weren't done on the instructions yet.

Bought an electric chainsaw last week.
The first 4 (!) pages in were safety instructions.
And from there on are scattered many little boxes of warnings and hazards.

After reading the first four pages (I most certainly did!) I was convinced I had no business holding the saw. Let alone using it!
I will admit that 95% of all owners manuals will be sold in original plastic sleeves.
No meat hooks have ever turned a single page.
Cars/trucks included
My Tundra is a 2009 and I'm still trying to figure out how the hands free works.

Crawled under the plow truck and created a shower of rust while "checking" the starter.
Still no start.
Thing has been sinking in the earth where parked and though I'm not a big guy it's a squeeze to get under it...
But I have caught my self trying to figure if everything is just right besides turning the key to start.

(Mowing start up days prior I have to disengage the brake if the mower won't start , then re-engage. Then hop on the seat or disembark and tip the seat forward and back then get back on it to get a couple switches happy.)
You know , the proper chants and incantations to coax an engine to life.
I've got the hop up and down on one leg and cuss part down.

Switches are easy to replace ... or to bypass. I'm not recommending that, just pointing it out. 8-)

Looking like I will be doing some pancakes in the morning.
