Your digging old that's for sure looking at the nails/musket ball.
It makes wonder sometimes if these bent nails were all from hitting a knot/something else when hammering them in.
Or a refashioned nail made into a fishing hook of sorts.
Cool digs Bart-my heart would fluttered seeing the glint of gold appearing in the sand/dirt.

Yep. The lawyers weren't done on the instructions yet.

Bought an electric chainsaw last week.
The first 4 (!) pages in were safety instructions.
And from there on are scattered many little boxes of warnings and hazards.

After reading the first four pages (I most certainly did!) I was convinced I had no business holding the saw. Let alone using it!
