I guess just being friendly and comradery. Just individuals that have talked a long time. I'm not very social but I like to say good morning to everyone to show I'm here and read about everyone going ons.

65 is better, by then the 60 was a pain in the arse.
On the last visit to the chiropractor he asked how everything else was going?
(Still dealing with my 🪜 dive.)
"Oh, this and that still giving me hell"
He replied:
The brain can only process 1 pain at a time it seems.
So as one is getting better (less pain) the other hurts more then.

It seems that I have rotational shift pain.
There's always one working the magic.

Hope you're doing better after the visit WD.

Proof of life on me by my making roll call. Everyone else just follows suit.

I don't post good morning and there will be a race to my home for members to fight over my Ace 350 detector, pin pointers , Lesche, and Lincoln pennies.

You wouldn't want a false stampede over here would you?

Has anyone (Disclaimer, anyone qualified ) checked your hips level?

Spine specialist says I'm losing bone from not bearing weight on it enough.
switched sides for worst pain. Not sure how I did that but pop my back frequently throughout the day. Maybe popped something too far ; or far enough.

Um... i mean.... this is one of the oldest sites on the internet. heh

And beings i have personally been online in some form for just just shy of 30 years i can assure you that in the beginning of "chatting" online... it was protocol... and not just "good form / manners" to have a greeting of some sort other that "HELLO".

So,.,, with that now being said .... no matter how many sites / forums/ chat places you may or may not have been on ... they must be of a relatively "new" nature or have "new" people on / running them... it is not the normal / old school way.

And i will take old school over new school any day.
And if ya look around...

Maybe so, but I'm even older. I was on the internet before it was the internet. Back before the "PC" was invented. I remember when a 1200 baud modem was a big deal, and you had to dial up and connect directly to a BBS (what passed for forums in those days). I remember when 640K (K!!) of memory was "all anyone would ever need". I remember the internet before DNS, when you had to know an IP address to get to anything. Back before search engines, when they used to publish paper books with internet directories.

Sigh. In technology terms, I'm older than dirt.

Oh I'm right there with you on that one. Other than modems -- the dustbin of history can keep those wretched things.
 

In other news … when I got home from detecting… 2 of the flockers were down… so I opened the back door and watched them while I cleaned my finds…. One has a poorly leg… the other was just sitting still. Sue enough poorly leg pige… limped over and came into the kitchen… eyed me up… then continued into the living room 😍…, I waited a while but as it was getting dark I went out and walked towards the other… he then flapped his wings and flew into the house 😍…. So they have food and water and have put the heating on for them… if they survive the night will contact pigeon rescue tomoz for them. I know people dislike pigeons…. but they are so pretty and so smart…. They know they will be safe with me….. 😍 xx (after the last one came in I put a inco pad under the coffee table …just in case ) xx

Picked up a white turtle dove years ago staggering about on the road. The bird staggering about on the road , not me. That time anyways.
It had an eyelid somehow torn. I clipped the tag of the torn piece off it. Didn't find anything else wrong with the bird.
Put it in a hastily built cage as it had lice I didn't want in the house.
Of course it fought the cage. So it turned it loose. Whereupon it lit on the peak of the roof for the night.
Being white in owl country on a roof peak didn't appeal to me. But morning showed an empty roof regardless.
No feathers. Fare thee well!

I have a 286 pc, that still works. 🤷‍♂️

And...an original Commodore VIC 20.(my first "computer"). I used to write programs on it and would run out of memory *typing in the code!!*
