Hey Bart
Looking around I found this. You probably knew this, but maybe not.(Massive hurricane that hit the keys in 1935).It even knocked the train off the tracks connecting the Keys.
>>

RTR... i am sure he does... this is / was one of the most powerful hurricanes to ever hit the U.S. let alone the keys.

"The Great Labor Day Hurricane of 1935 was the most intense Atlantic hurricane to make landfall on record in terms of pressure,[1] and tied with Hurricane Dorian in 2019 for the strongest landfalling Atlantic hurricane by maximum sustained winds, with winds of 185 mph (295 km/h). It was also the most intense Atlantic hurricane on record until Hurricane Gilbert in 1988. "

It's all good-Capt.
Though I woke with a thought and looked it up and sure enough my thought was correct.

There have been no named hurricanes so far this summer.

This hasn't happened since 1960

I've been cleaning the red Sahara dust off the boats all summer. And yes I'm quite familiar with 1935 hurricane history. I just donated a rail lock to the museum for there railroad display !!

Morning Bart
There has been some bad ones in the later part of the seasons that have had this type of movement.
September could be a rough ride.
But it could generate some epic beach cuts to uncover things that are to be found.
