RR,

Just got back from my morning walk....got to give Roger and the rest of the crew a chance with the DJ duties.

Morning GB, RR, bart, in advance Msbeepbeep and good to see Simon. WD probably making Christmas cookies for the party.
Guess it’s time for me to check in. Long sad story short: I am staying at parents. Moms in hospice care which makes me nurse 24/7. We had a good Thanksgiving for her so that’s great.
You all keep posting the funny stuff, I need it. Love the “Glory day “ pics. I have been looking at my senior pics thinking of posting so y’all can see my goofy hair. Simon your wife is beautiful!
Bart big time congratulations on the tv interview. A touch of destiny.
I know I have missed birthday, finds, and condolences, and I am sorry. I just don’t have time. Or energy.

Miss the ship and the rum awfully much! Keep ‘er afloat!

What beach you at?

Gulf Shores west beach. That’s just west of 59 when it dead ends to the gulf.
I tried to make a video of the 2 jets on their East return toward Pensacola but they are way to
Quick to me to get the phone out a film. I’ll try this afternoon when we detect the park.
Time to go eat lunch .:laughing7:

Hey WD. I'm glad to hear you're okay, I was beginning to worry. I'm sorry to hear about your mom.

I'm working on mapping out on google maps where each of my Gettysburg artifacts came from, approximately. After all, the Rosensteels didn't have GPS.:laughing7:

Once It is complete, or at least complete to date, I'll post a link.

RTR
You could be correct about ARC and the fighters flying the beach. We are West of him I believe. I
Told my son who is stationed at the base In Pensacola about the jets and he said they train
Pilots from all over the world (that are buddies of ours). So I guess that explains the flights
down the beach at different times of the day.

Thats cool.I was stationed there for a few days. But a hurricane chased the planes off base to inland bases.

Bill,
Quick question I’m cleaning off the desk and found a bunch of canceled stamps should I have my dad save them to go through later, or just pitch them ?

Seriously that’s a great read bill. And a guide to follow.:icon_thumright:

Yeah RTR
My son has 17 years and really likes his unit and plans on 25 minimum.

WD,

It doesn't hurt to save them....believe there's some group or other that actually donate used stamps in the U.S. to veterans it probably helps them keep busy mentally and helps those with ptsd issues.

rook,

The limit on the consumption level is a bit stingy....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7: A buddy of mine who was born in Germany was advised to only have 1 beer per day so he went out and bought a 2 litre stein-that's about 70 ounces of beer.

The doctor didn't say 1 12 ounce beer so he said he was following doctor's orders....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:
