Glad you are enjoying your vacation Rook
While on business trips, my son and I spent a lot of time in Biloxi, Gulf Port, Gulf Breeze, ( looking for UFO's ), and Pensacola. Took a tour of the base there in Pensacola and kinda gotten off the beaten path and ended up in some area that was not maintained, ( all gravel ). One of my favorite aircrafts is the F-18 and inside this fenced in area was a large building and several aircrafts. One being an F-18 all decked out in Blue Angels markings. A few weeks later I was looking up the Blue Angels on-line and saw that one had crashed into the water during training. Still had what looked like seaweed hanging all over it. :

1 December 2004 Blue Angel Hornet crashLt. Ted Steelman ejected from his F/A-18 approximately one mile off Perdido Key after his aircraft struck the water, suffering catastrophic engine and structural damage. He suffered minor injuries.

I really liked everything about being down there............except the reptiles.

On another note, how much longer are you staying down there Rook ?
I need to "tidy" the place up a bit.
