Wish we got those and others here. In central Victoria we get very little seafood. I very miss living near the ocean. Best we really can get is catch yourself. Get frozen whatever, who knows what it really is, I know what Aussie whiting are because I used to catch them. What we get here is no way Whiting. Neither is the Snapper nor Flathead. I caught all those, what we get is false labelled crap! Why we love fishing and catching our own. The Blue Green algae though now has reared its ugly toxic head. We wont fish now till we see floods flush it out of the water systems.
Still can catch yabbies, crawfish, in clean bush dams so that'll do.
Oh man I miss my sea fishing! ☹️

Once in a while we get the "red tides" that mess with our dungeness crab harvest. And the shoreline perch fishing (12 foot pole) They are only god for fish tacos. Did I mention 100 miles north Cos Bay Oregon.. Oysters!!!!! On the grill in their shell..... (Viking drools all over.. )

Brother used to tell me that they really kicked the heck out of the salmon/that and all the regulations on fishing he sold the boat.
Better to do a charter and then he's able to keep the fish.

Not a problem at all. Here I have never expierenced a sea lice problem at all. Charter you have different rules Oregon leans to the left but this town of 6600 that I have grown up in leans normal. :laughing7: A god charter boat is booked for months.
 

It's 3:25 in the morning! Tomorrow I have to punch an asshole that disrespected a friend.
Then I will work on a house or 2 work on the boat... and smoke the firebird tires!!!!! Drive it like ya stole it!!! Well I won't get that carried away.....
Interview an employee (future ) or 2. Stress full. people are so stupid. Why cant I frame? Install cabinets? No learn to dig a ditch first! Why? Is the ditch/forms straight? and work ethic.

5-7 foot seas all week with 15-20 kt winds !! Stuff breaking and water everywhere. Green water on the windshield alot this week !! Poor old girl got beat up, and now we have to take her to the yard for repairs. Geeez fishing is expensive !! Lost some skin off the top of my big toe, and am nursing a pinched nerve that makes my arm tingle all night !!
