I did get out to the tiny resort beach....still unloading the boat and cleaning my finds....did manage these 2 small buttons....appear to be older sailors coat buttons ?? Ill have to clean them up so I can read the back marks !!

It's 3:25 in the morning! Tomorrow I have to punch an asshole that disrespected a friend.
Then I will work on a house or 2 work on the boat... and smoke the firebird tires!!!!! Drive it like ya stole it!!! Well I won't get that carried away.....
Interview an employee (future ) or 2. Stress full. people are so stupid. Why cant I frame? Install cabinets? No learn to dig a ditch first! Why? Is the ditch/forms straight? and work ethic.
Hiring is like adoption. Everything they do effects your life, and I mean everything.
Forman said to me one day, you know this used to be a lot of fun when it was just you and me.
He hit the nail right on the head-we'd lost our sense of ha-ha, and it was just now a hire/fire put up with the BS of whining of others.

Well ARC was just here. And I know you probably have to get to work, so here goes it….

I have highlighted the Covid fog screw ups that mr WD has had. Friday, he Came home from work and told me, “ you have a boyfriend.”
I said,” I do ?” he said, “yes, he sent you a letter to the shop.” then he went out to the truck to get the letter and I had remembered what I had done. when he came back in the house I was laughing and said, “that’s not a letter. that’s no boyfriend . that’s Covid fog.” I proceeded to tell him about that thread that you two tried to help ID the cross and I had the brilliant idea to put the first bid on it to try and peak the interest of other bidders. Yep, you guessed it. I won.

It’s a Celtic cross and I am guessing it was on a rosary or prayer bracelet or perhaps by itself on a chain of some one of Irish Catholic background. The back looks to me to be Jesus the Good Shepherd with a lamb and not Mary and baby.

Lol stupid fog brain.

Now as I remember most hard booze is at 40% Alc/Vol sold up here, so you're drinking a good lady's Marionberry vodka. Just need more intake to = the same kick. :laughing7:
Interesting screen shot though of the desk top clutter.
But what sparked the interest was the screen shot of Traveller 777's topic thread.
Thought maybe it was the past relationships he'd experienced.
Grew up hearing those terms thrown around the camps, and loggers, griping about some old battle axe...
Then again thinking back and where/how it was used - well those were strong women that could probably slap most down either with the lashing of the tongue, or a good whack with the corn broom. :notworthy:

Looks like I took too long for ARC and Bart. Lol
Well ARC will get caught up when he sobers up again when :dontknow:
Never can tell with him getting the keys back.

Now Bart I have nothing, probably playing in the sand with his toes, drinking his coffee looking out at gentle lapping wave that are caressing the white sands.
While wondering if there's a treasure from some old long forgotten pirate that lost it in the rough seas of centuries ago.
Fear not WD they'll snap out of it again-climb aboard the ship once again.
BTW it was not all lost, in your sharing.
