Unfuc.ing believable !! Just the most surreal location on the planet...more exotic and tropical than can be imagined. Crashing 15 foot surf, huge dislodged boulders and giant sand dunes !! Extremely isolated location and howling winds....I was scrambling over rocks and almost being swept away in the surf. It was meant to be and with great friends there to share the experience !! Sads669 and captain Dennis were already in shock from the ring when BOOM.....I erupted like a volcano !! Only had about 10 hits in 2 hours, and 2 were certified pirate treasure !!.....actually if you count ships spikes, I only had 2 pieces of aluminum and a couple pieces of trash. This folks was bonafide, certified pirate treasure !!! Wooooo hooooo !!

Congrats Bart.

Pictures... or it didnt happen. :)

:P

Got a silver treasure ring today along with a gold 1747 reis coin !! I don't really ever post gold coins....but this one is incredible....sads669 was standing there when I got it !! Just a mind blower of a coin !!
Congratulations Bart!:occasion14:
What a day of of treasure hunting for you.
Best of luck on the return hunts.

Congratulations bart. Do you have pics yet? You know the old sayin?:laughing7::laughing9:

Morning pepper, AARC, bart, bill, Fat, WD and others that could join later.

I got the pics....but I'm not done, and I need to get back home before I start showing off. I love for home tomorrow, so its gonna be a long day down at the site digging every faint squeak I can get !! Woooo hoooo !!

Good morning to the RCT crew another hot one today.

Morning Bill

Watering, watering, watering I hauled 150 gallons over to the berry patch yesterday and got it watered.
Then all the lower garden, and the plants shrubbery around the house. This heat has really parched up a lot of the moisture already it seems.

Kind of reminds of the weather we had 5 yrs ago-300 gallons on the big garden almost daily. But we had some great veggies from the heat and regular watering.
Need to put in the pump infrastructure at the pond, pump it over to the patch into some 300 gallon totes, then into drip lines for the plants. (when I get time to do that it will be well on in the season).
Got all the strawberries planted and it seems that they're taking root just fine.
The Haskaps are setting fruit now, so I hoping the row covers will arrive in time.

Got a PH Meter delivered finally after Lee Valley sent 2 moisture meters out-dam thing doesn't work. PH 7+ for everything had me scratching the noodle. Finally I sunk it into the peat moss PH7 should be between a 3-4 PH. So I need to send it back. Hard to get things done when the outside world is screwed up.

Got a bunch of plantings yesterday from the farm yesterday-so we need to get them in the ground today.
Planting more in the berry patch this year as the sunlight hits for many more hours and having not to contend with the wildlife in the patch helps.

Morning Bart
All the best of luck today-will be checking in later to see if you scored another treasure.

Jim,

Good luck getting all the berries in the ground and hardened in. Wishing you a bountiful harvest later in the season.

Noticed some of our planting are starting to show some life got some baby bok choy sprouting, ethiopian black lentils and some of our fingerling gourmet potatoes. It's great to see that our efforts in the garden start to pay off.

The leaf lettuce should be ready for harvesting the first batch later this week.
